Beautiful illustrations

Started with Anthony’s ‘Gorilla’ book which my toddler loves. He absolutely loves this counting board book- lovely illustrations of different monkeys as well as the numbers. It’s a firm favourite even at bedtime- as the last page has lots of different faces of people he likes to look at.

Lovely book to aid the young count from 1 to 10

Anthony Browne books are wonderfully illustrated, this one is in bold bright colours and a little different from most counting books. I would say suitable for toddlers about 9 months onwards, once they are past wanting to taste everything if they are that way inclined.The illustrations are of apes and monkeys and not the usual '1 apple , 2 dogs' type of stuff you will find elsewhere.

Fun and educational.

Bought two copies of this book - for grandson and grandaughter who are both two years old. They love the colourful pictures of monkeys etc. and will be able to count the animals while learing from 1 - 10.
