Buddeez Bits and Bolts Storage Containers - Storage Bins with Lids - Bulk Organizer for Workshop, Pantry, or Garage Supplies - 1 Quart 12 Pack

I work on 50 year old Mustangs, and I have hundreds of bolts in all lengths, diameters, and thread pitches. These bins are stackable, and I have one bin for each type of bolt. I write what the bin contains in Sharpie on the front. Because they are clear, I can see which one has the bolts I want, but I also have both red and yellow tops so I can sort by function, e.g. bolts going in the engine bay are in a bin with a red top.The bins are very sturdy plastic, and the tops have little dimples which match up with bumps on the bottom. I probably have 5-10 pounds of bolts in each one, and there's no problem stacking them 3 high on my work bench. The lids close nice and tight but are also easy to open. They are a good size too. I have some which are holding 50-60 bolts.These are now my #1 choice for my garage. They are much better value than the cheap plastic drawers.

I like these very much for storing screws, nails and the like as the cardboard boxes they come in often fall apart. These appear to be quite sturdy with blue tip-up lids, and the entire top can be readily removed.I found it interesting, though, as a first set of 8 I had ordered had slightly different tops that a second set I ordered a few days later. In the photos the first set has the lid with the 'skirt' shown at the top of the photo, the second set did not. The first set was also 'branded' with the BUDDEEZ name under the blue lid top, the second was not. Not shown is the similar branding of the BUDDEEZ name on the bottom of the clear bottom of the first set, the second set has no branding at all. In all, the second set I received appears to more closely match the Amazon photo for the product.As to the purpose of the skirt, it makes the top removal a bit more cumbersome from the front, although removal is easy from the back in both versions. I suspect the top can be inverted as shown in another photo (the blue tilt-up can be removed separately) to form a pour spout for granular or powder products, although it is not a tight fitting top (the blue tilt-up does help a bit to keep the inverted lid in place but may block product pouring). I suspect the first batch of these was either an earlier or later lid model designed for some product other than the 'Bits and Bolts' in the product description. Still, these are rugged containers I expect to last a long time.

Nice containers but too pricey for the size, they are very expensive and very small.

Originally bought to store screws etc. But am really excited now that using these for Tupperware-type kitchen storage - they’re absolutely wonderful! Rectangular size saves a lot of space in fridge. In the photo, I show a huge round storage container, which was almost half full. All of it fit into one of these containers- uses only a fraction of the space. They look good, very sturdy, dishwasher friendly. Store nicely when empty. They scratch my itch- simplify cooking and leftovers.

I actually got these to store nuts and bolts but they are WAY too big for what I need to store. I was about to return them when I needed something to store something in the pantry. Everything I had on hand was too large or too small. And, these stack nicely, if you have room. Anywho, I am now using them to store pasta and tea bags, primarily. I know those are unlike. I do label them. It's a compulsion of mine. But, you can see exactly what is inside and they seal well. I had some baby food-size jars I'm now using for nuts and bolts and I'm using these for food. When they arrived, they did have a little bit of a petroleum smell. They are plastic. But, I washed them well and it's gone. These are better than Rubbermaid and Tupperware as far as I can tell so far. Sturdy. VERY pleased.

I am a little disappointed with the way the lids stay on. I am using them in our trailer to hold dry items-like oats, rice and other things. I am having to put a rubber band around the container to keep the lids from popping open. They are good otherwise but the lids do not snap tightly closed.
