Only use someplace that will not move or be touched.
Had these installed for a while and 2 work other 2 broke.If you install these make sure they are in an area that will not move at all. I have the 2 working ones installed inside the ac vents of my car and they work great.The other 2 were installed in the cupholders sealed under a piece of frosted plexi glass. one of them stopped working one day and I took the cupholders out to find the flat leads to the wires had broken off and wile putting them back together the other side broke off also.I think these would be best suited for lighting as I have done where the LED is hidden back so it will not have any chance of being knocked or messed up.I would not buy these again I would look for something with wires directly to the led not through the flat contacts like this has.
