QuartetGlass Whiteboard, Magnetic Dry Erase Board, 11" x 17", with Customizable Templates, White Dry Erase Surface, Infinity (GI1117)

This is exactly what I was looking for!! As a teacher from home, I needed a glass white board that wasn't too big for my desk and yet, large enough to display 2 regular size sheets of paper. This allows me to slip two worksheets underneath the glass and project it to my document camera for online classes. No more wasting paper and reprinting a new sheet every time I want to use one. My papers are not shifting and sliding around out of camera view; also it wipes clean with glass board, whiteboard or even wet erase markers. I really like that it also has little legs so its not flat on my table. It looks elegant and professional. Yes, I could have achieved a similar setup with a glass picture frame but I wanted something that didn't look like a rig. I added pictures to my review with a couple of sheets of paper under the glass so you could see what i mean.

These glass whiteboards are great but you better be really handy if you install them yourself. There isn’t much room for error when mounting the unit to the wall; measure the holes exactly!!! If possible, get a laser level and some help from a couple people to hold the board to the wall, then use a pencil to mark the holes on the wall.

The size and purpose of this product are great for a small workspace. I gave the product 4 stars instead of 5 because of the limited options for the templates you can print to use for the board. In fact, the options for the templates seemed more geared towards the medical community rather than for the general public. I would have loved to be able to create my own template using a software provided by Quartet.

First and foremost: THIS. WHITEBOARD. IS. NOT. RETURNABLE. Even though the product detail page does not contain the word "returnable" anywhere (except the reviews,) trust me and the other reviewers. It is not. The person I spoke with said it was because it had breakable glass. No. The glass is tempered, thus not very breakable. I cannot believe that nothing that contains glass is returnable. Something is wrong, here.Now, on to the design. The mounting posts are essentially a specialized bolt-and-nut arrangement that forms a cylinder that is intended to attach to a wall. The holes through which the shafts of the mounting posts are supposed to go are FAR bigger than the shafts (see pictures*.) This means that the alignment of the back and the front - and the mounting posts - is unstable.This is compounded by the poor machining, metal quality and design of the mounting posts themselves. The threaded portion of the larger part (i.e. the nut) is far too thin, and the metal is not smooth at all ( I think it's porous from a poor casting process) so when they mate, they grind. This makes it impossible to tell if they're cross-threaded - which due to the thinness of the threading area and the poor machining, they do *very* easily.Don't buy this.* I had some nice annotated pictures of the trouble areas, but - maybe there are already enough pictures with all of the other reviews? - it won't let me upload them...

Despite a terribly misleading answer in the Q&A section from the "Manufacturer", the size of these whiteboards is NOT the stated size. The actual size is larger to allow for the insert/paper size to be the stated size. Basically it is bigger by the dimension of the two grey bars on either side which act as spacers for the insert. So, for instance, I ordered the 18" x 24" whiteboard and the actual dimension of the glass is really 21 3/8" x 24 1/8". Since the item is frameless and you can write on the entire area it makes zero sense why the outside dimensions are not stated.In my case, that meant it no longer fit into the space. Since it is not returnable per Amazon policy I now have to haggle with them to refund me since the listing is inaccurate.

I like this board, because it looks good and the ability to put a template in it is great too

Love this whiteboard. Looks great and serves the purpose. I just wish I purchased the larger size.

Great product. We got this instead of a regular whiteboard to hang in the kitchen and keep notes. The fact that the paper behind the glass can be adjusted is amazing (calendars, trackers, etc).Quality of the product is 10/10 and it comes very securely packaged with everything you need to hang up on the wall (screws, metal drywall screws).NOTE: it is heavier than I expected so keep in mind that you will want to attach it to a stud for proper security.
