I am a runner, so I am always looking for high protein foods. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat much meat, so I'm always looking for good plant sources of protein. I'm a college professor, so I need an easy-to-prepare lunch to eat at my desk between classes. And I'm not a morning person, so I need a grab-and-go lunch option. I was reordering another quinoa product when I saw this and added it to my order. Wow, is this tasty!! Nice lemon zest with garlic and artichoke - all flavors shine! Then the farro gives a nice firm "al dente" chewing texture. The quinoa product requires that I add water and microwave; not that this is difficult, but I have to remember to get it started so it can sit and then so it can cool enough for me to eat. But this product can be eaten as soon as I sit down! And like I said, wow, it's tasty! Now, okay, I think it's a tad pricey, but per unit I would certainly spend a lot more than this at the cafeteria and when I consider that I'm getting a bunch of TASTY protein, I'm okay with the price.

Really tasty and great for lunch at work if I didn't have time to cook. Would definitely buy again. The only reason that i didn't give it 5 stars is that once you add the artichoke mix to the grains, it's hard to easily stir together without making a mess (so I dumped both into a bowl) and the spoon that is included is useless. Pretty tasty though.

As a vegetarian I was very happy to see this product for sale on Amazon so I ordered a six pack. The grain part is wonderful but the vegetable topping is very Bland, very oily, and the artichoke portions were very tough, stringy, and impossible to eat. Now I add my own toppings and everything's great! Just my opinion, folks!

I really like that this is a great lunch and doesn't really require microwaving.

This stuff tastes really awesome and it’s a fast main dish ! I tried the artichoke one first and I’m really happy ! It comes in a cup that you can heat and eat it, or I ate it the first time at room temperature. It’s great for a quick lunch at work, and it’s in two cups. You open the little cup of goodies and pour it into the bigger cup of grains. I need something fast and healthy and I feel like I’m getting both! Better than the pouches I used to get at the store, which didn’t include flavor and veggies. Really good!

This is a great quick meal for someone like me. I spiced it up and it tasted better.Revised. Compared to all of the other varieties of this brand, this is, at best, edible. But is is mushy and bland.

I really wanted to love this but unfortunately the lemon flavor is way too overpowering. All you taste is lemon and no grains flavor at all. I love the idea of heat and eat containers and I think I prefer it better at room temperature but either way the flavors are just waaay to overpowering. So I am giving this three stars. One for the grains itself they are cooked just right and two stars for the heat-and-eat packaging but I can't give it any for flavor. I would love to see this with more of an Italian muffaletta-style flavor instead of the overpowering lemon. Would I purchase it again? No I would not. A solid three stars only.
