As other reviewers have said, installation is NOT intuitive, and there are no instructions. I was ready to do some gorilla glue handiwork when my husband intervened and figured it out: you have to unscrew the inner screw from the gold button in order to attach it. The problem is the inner screw does not act like it’s supposed to unscrew, so you have to seriously finesse it to get it out. They also hang a bit loosely once they’re installed... but again, the end product is so attractive that they’re worth it. It took me a minute to figure it out, but the threader that’s secures the hexagon to the pull just has to be unscrewed from the inside of the cap. I was able to do so with my finger easily.
