Not false advertising, just beware that this is only 24awg wire at 25' so it's only good for a few milliamps of current or a fairly significant voltage drop. For my application it works perfectly and for the price, I have no complaints. Would buy again.

These are good outside power cables for CCTV cameras. The connections are tight and create a good seal but I still wrap then with a water proof tape or seal inside a homemade junction box. Avoid installing outside if they are going to be exposed to direct sunlight constantly. Also I wouldn't bury these especially at any real depth but would be fine to cover with dirt to keep out of light. Make sure you wrap the connections if using outside even with the tight plugs.Using both extension cables and have had zero problems. They are holding up well.

These cables work perfectly to extend power from the centralized power strip I run my security cameras on to each camera.

We needed these since the cords included with cameras were too short for some areas. Worked great!
