The Loomia Sophie Woven Turkish Cotton Throw Blanket for Farmhouse Home Decor (Queen Bedspread, Oversize Extra Large Creamish Ecru Base with Black Stripes)

I'm so happy with this purchase. I immediately washed it in warm water but will typically use cold, and line dried outside. It dried quickly, no chemical smell. Can't say how this would wrinkle in the dryer, but line dried it was crisp and without wrinkles. Blanket was even softer after first wash. The color is nice, the cream is a parchment shade, without too much yellow. I bought it to use on a couch. The size is larger than a throw, which is great because we are all tall. The weight is perfect, like a lightweight and tightly knit baja shirt. I may purchase another one to use on our bed in the summer. I also plan to purchase their towels when my current terry towels age out, for the fast-drying, easy laundering, space-saving, and versatility, especially as a family who like to travel with only a carry-on size bag.

Amazing quality! It has held up so well after numerous washes and softens a bit with every wash/dry, as well. Not a huge deal, but some knots tend to untie after going through the dryer, but barely worth mentioning and definitely doesn't take away from the quality. I just quickly re-knot the ones that loosened and they're good as new. The throw had a natural cotton-fields scent right out of the package but went away immediately after the first wash. I live in California and have kept warm with just this throw during the winter. It's thin but has a tight weave and some weight to it and would definitely make a great summer throw, as well. Love it, love it, love it!

Ordered this Turkish blanket, and I received it promptly. Washed it right away and used it a couple times so far. Very nice, soft, great size. Many throws are too small to cover me all the way up, on the couch. This products size was very much a solid feature. It's definitely not a super thick blanket, but this is exactly what I wanted. A solid, light throw to use on the couch to take the bite off if it's a bit cold. The only reason I'd change my rating is if it starts falling apart prematurely; otherwise, 5 star for sure!

I bought this blanket to use as a couch cover. I think it is soft and lightweight, but not flimsy. That being said I did notice a small pick in the fabric, but again, as a couch cover it’s going to get beat up a little. And I would buy another if something happens to this one from my boys being too rough. The instructions say that it is machine washable but to air or line dry. I might take my chances and use a low dryer setting because it is a large blanket. I would also buy this for a bed if I ever need one. It seems like a great weight for staying warm but not sweating to death at night.

I was looking for a queen size Turkish Blanket and in my search from Amazon this showed. Ratings are high so I bight the bullet. It arrived in just one day, yay! It had the slight smell that others mentioned but I followed the washing instructions and it came out of the dryer so soft. I put it on my Queen bed . . . What? It didn't fit. The edges on each side don't hang over. This was more of a Full Size or a couch blanket. It is beautiful, it is super soft. I am only disappointed that I thought I was purchasing a Queen and it is not. I highly recommend if you're looking for a couch or Full Blanket, if you need a Queen or King you may want to continue you're search. I hope this family business makes larger ones. They send a sweet little "surprise gift" with each purchase and seem to genuinely be a great small business. 3 stars only because I feel misled about it being a Queen size.

So much softer than I imagined! I love it. Weighty without being too heavy. Well woven and nice tassels at the ends. Fan. Big fan.

I rarely leave reviews but sometimes an item and its seller just need to be given a shout out! This 100% Turkish Cotton extra large size throw is awesome. I purchased it to use as a beach blanket and it is absolutely amazing. One our trip to the river we used this throw as a beach blanket, a towel, a throw by the campfire, a blanket for a nap, and so many other things.The quality of the cotton is plush and luxurious and caring for it is easy. Additionally the throw is incredibly well made. I will definitely be buying more from Loomia and would encourage you to do the same.I switched last year from traditional beach towels and blankets to the thinner turkish cotton variety and after trying several from different companies here on Amazon Loomia definitely wins!!I love supporting small family run companies and I hope you'll give Loomia and their products a try. They also sent a surprise gift with my purchase that is pretty darn cool, I won't say what it was so you can be pleasantly surprised too.

I've had my eye on this blanket for about a month. Even though it's summer, I wanted something that I could keep at the end of my bed. I love the Turkish style of this blanket. I have many Turkish bath towels and hand towels and although I wish this blanket came in blues and whites, I liked it so much that I figured the black and cream could still work. It's a good size - it has some weigh to it so it works well in summer and will be great in winter. Large enough to share and more than enough fabric to use on your own. Will buy from Loomia in the future. They also included a really nice gift of a Nazar - a beautiful, blue, eye-shaped amulet believed to protect against the evil eye. I love these little trinkets and have several already. What a lovely surprise!
