It is not the automatic by water level pump.
They promise up to 1/8" of the water level operation. But is not automatically stop at this level. So you must measure it to prevent the overheat or control the output flow. Not so useful for the price.

disappointed
Seems like a good pump but warranty is very misleading. It has a 24 month limited warranty but not from date of purchase but for 24 months after the manufacture date. Date on the pump is Feb. 2018. Purchased it in November 2019 so I only have a 4 month warranty on this pump.

Pump failed after 2 days
Pump failed after 1 hr work over 2 days only pumping for 3-4 min at a time.
