Review: Great Machine - worth the price for my home - Great machine. Works as expected. I live in a condo near Biscayne Bay with a lot of glass and this makes it very easy to keep the windows and glass terrace panels clean. I have 7 4’x10’ glass sliders and 30’ of glass terrace wall. That’s about 900 sq ft of glass counting both sides. I (or rather it) can clean all of that with very little input from me in a few hours. It’s ALMOST as simple as plug it in, stick it to the window and press go. Value: if I had someone come clean all that glass it would be over $100. If I use this device once a month, it’s paid for in six months. (I live in a bay, windows get dirty fast and often). I would eagerly recommend this to anyone who has large rectangular windows to clean. I’m sure it would work on traditional windows with mullions, too, but it would require more attention. Also would be great for store-fronts. Cons: when it does “get stuck” i don’t think it can resume from where it left off. Not a significant con. Doesn’t get stuck often.
Review: Absolute Garbage, DOES NOT WORK! - This is quite possibly the WORST thing i've ever ordered or seen. I had so much hope to clean my second story condo windows and was glad i attempted it on first floor windows that i could reach. First this thing couldn't clean a CLEAN window much less a dirty window and just leaves streaks. Second thing the fluid reservoir is 2 oz, the mist it spits out is lucky to hit the window it's so little and fine, if there was any wind it would just blow away. Now the tether, so what exactly do you connect it to on a first floor? Put eyebolts above every window? This thing got lost in the first 15 seconds on the window, it never completed a cycle, it didn't detect the edges of the window (vinyl window). Great AI.... These should be outlawed as pure theft. It stuck to the window but it never successfully moved across the whole window, it did end up just streaking an almost clean window. Oh and if your window is dirty you're supposed to run it dry first so it SANDS your windows. Are you kidding me? DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP, DO NOT MANUFACTURE THIS DUMP FILLING PIECE OF GARBAGE. What a waste of materials and time. Whose bright idea was it? I expected something that worked, and unfortunately I tried a different type and.. absolutely the same thing, the concept is an exercise in abject stupidity. The company should be charged for building or even selling these. To think I thought it would clean a second floor inaccessible window on it's own, in a dusty environment was pure fiction. A stupid idea I fell for. RUN. Lets see a video of it working, it never will. Don't even bother going back to the drawing board pitch this idea out the window with the product. Make sure it's a high floor and take video of it coming apart in a million pieces.

**Q: does it have warranty? how long is it? do I have to return with the box for the warranty or I can just return what is inside?**

**Q: Can this clean my solar panels**
A: Yes, it works for solar panels. If the panels are spaced out more than quarter of an inch from each other, you would have to move the robot from one panel to another.

**Q: how long does the cleaning product last? my windows are huge, I wonder how many times I would have to refill it (since it doesn't need recharge)**
A: The waterspray is very efficient and full tank would generally cover approximately cover 100 sq. ft. of surface or more.

**Q: Some of my winows are triangular. Will this get the corners clean?**
A: No. HOBOT is designed for rectangular windows.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use, Works very good

The Hobot -298 works extremely well. The micro cloth really does a fine job and the unit seems well built. Its auto dispenser emits a fine spray as it works its way over the window surface. It works best on large windows. Small windows seem to confuse the sensors. Our small non opening windows are recessed into the wall significantly as that is the design the builder went with. It looks great but it seems to cramp the Hobots style a bit. On the large picture windows and on tall vertical windows such as storm doors, it works excellently. Also, for oversized bathroom mirrors it does a fine job too. I have heard the argument that a person can do a window cleaning faster than the robot, and this is true. But with the robot doing the window, you can ca doing other things at the same time. It increases productivity. Example; While the robot was cleaning the very large living room window, I was doing laundry and watching dinner on the stove. A beep alerts you to when the Robot is done or needs attention. It has not fallen off a window yet. It has battery backup should power be lost. A safety tether is included but using it is not convenient because what are you going to hook it onto? Unless you have a curtain rod above the window, there is nowhere to fasten the rope to. I took it off. I will get another unit for outside, but probably not this model. This one is pricey so a less expensive model can get dirty outside and live in the garage when not being used.
