WinsomeMarissa Kitchen Cart, Walnut

I bough this kitchen cart/island for my parents who recently had their kitchen redone, but were told they didn’t have room for an island. I wanted to match their dark cabinets and give them a nice prep surface. I’m extremely happy with this purchase. It’s solid wood and is good quality. My husband put it together in about an hour’s time and he says it was pretty easy. All that was needed was a screw driver and the allen wrench it came with. We may replace the wood on top to match my parents granite countertops, but really no complaints.

If you like puzzles, this is the cart for you! NOTHING was labeled! Not a single part! It took two hours to figure out how to assemble it going by a single, simple picture. What a nightmare!Now that the cart is assembled, it is sturdy and looks ok, but for $175, I wouldn't buy it again if I had the choice. I will also avoid this brand in the future as well. Two of the wheels fall out because the pre-installed pieces that hold them in are missing. I emailed the company and will update this review if they respond and send me the pieces.UPDATE: The company was quick to respond and sent me the missing pieces. I have updated the stars to reflect this.

It took 2 1/2 hours to assemble, by someone who knows how to do this stuff (with no interruptions). As I was paying him, I didn't like that so much. It looks great!. I use it in my open concept kitchen/dining room area as a bar cart and for serving platters if the table is too full when having a formal dinner. Not too big, but holds a lot of wine glasses, bottles, cocktail napkins and bar items, but also has a nice sized butcher block top. I'm glad I got it!

I was excited to assemble my kitchen cart, when I noticed a dent inside the door, which I was ok with. Then as I got the rest of the parts off another bigger piece was chipped off and that was very disappointing. I returned this box right away. Mainly because the box it was in looked fine with no dents or anything so for the actual cart to be damaged that was a not cool. Hope others have better luck though.

This is a nice cart that assembles easily. It is well built with good materials and looks awesome in my kitchen. The only thing I would recommend is to put some clear rubber bumpers along the tracks for the slide out drawer to fill the clearance from side to side.

Cart is exactly as described, looks nice and rich color. The light top adds a nice contrast. Unit arrived with no damage to shipping container, however, the draw bottom sheet was damaged....a break approximately 3” long which was easily repaired. Also, none of the assembly hardware was included. Issue resolved rather quickly.

I used for an entertainment center so it holds my tv etc in my casual living room. Good for this purpose for sure. A little pricey for the quality but I needed something for a small space.

This cart was easy to put together and looks great! I did put a piece in backward and had to partially un-assemble to correct, but that's on me for not paying close enough attention to the instructions. Same quality as what's offered at the furniture store, but better price.

So assembly wise, the pictures of two of the parts look the same in the instructions but are not as they are different sizes and one is just a frame while the other a full wall, and since the pieces aren't labelled with stickers according to the letter the instructions gave, it took a while to figure out. The top had a large chip in the corner missing and dents, and the metal piece pre-screwed into the door that magnetizes to the catch had split the wood so the door did not fit, I had to unscrew the piece and hammer the wood back into place. It's nice that it came with wood covers for the screw holes but they fell out easily so get some glue. All in all good for the price considering how much other ones I've looked at, but it needs so much better instructions and labelling of parts. No extra screws so be careful not to lose one.

When I opened the box it looked well packaged. However putting it together I think is a pain. It would be nice if items were labeled with the letters as the instructions aren't very good. I am stuck on step 3 because the screw doesn't go in, just turns and turns. I was excited to get this for my kitchen but I am pretty disappointed so far.

The unit went together easily. It is fairly sturdy. If a user wanted to make it extra sturdy, they could add a bit of glue between the joints while they assemble it. Overall a nice unit and well built.

I'm happy with the cart and it's sturdy. Unfortunately , assembly took longer than what it needed to because I had to figure it out. There were no assembly instructions included

I found the directions easy to follow and the product is awesome.
