You'll look like a dork... but you'll love this thing
My dog seemed really embarrassed at first at being harnessed to a middle aged woman wearing a fanny pack, but once we got moving, she just ignored the laughter of the other dogs and had a great time running with me. Highly recommend!

Looks like it will really work well!
Honestly I haven't used this yet. Will update once I do. Only thing I see wrong is the patch is upside down which honestly I could care less about. I didn't pay attention to the leash length but I am glad it is 4'. I have a 6' bungee and I end up shortening it when I need better control. I live in the city so there are cars everywhere don't want my furry friend getting hurt on our runs! I think the main pouch is great for my phone and the small mesh pocket will be great for my keys(or one of the two poop bag pockets). I think it's great that they have the pockets on either side for poop bags because it makes it more versatile. Anyone can use it. I like that the d rings are medal for hooking into the leash. And that I can hook both dogs up on either side of me so they are pulling on each other and not me. My previous belt had them in the front. We will see how well this works next week when I take my German Shepherd for a run.

High quality leash
I was very pleasantly surprised to see what a high quality product this is. I had bought a hands free leash awhile back and it broke after only a few times using it. We have a husky who likes to pull and go go go. The materials this leash is made out of is thick and heavy duty as well as a beefier clasp. And it is so nice to have a pouch that will actually hold my IPhone 8+. Great product and I would highly recommend. The only thing I would love to see added would be an option for a slightly longer leash or to somehow lengthen it just a bit.

Super comfortable (with modification), zipper sucks.
I bought this for handsfree hiking/walking with my 2 pups. Having them on either side didn't work out for me very well, so I modified the set up. I attached a single 4 ft leash to the D-rings - think handle looped through one side and clip attached to the other. Then I attached a swivel carabiner to the leash. The dogs bungee leashes get attached to that. This means the dogs don't get tangled (because of the swivel) and I don't get yanked all over the place. The idea was adapted from the Ruffwear running system. The only bad thing is that the zipper on the big pocket no longer zips. Not a deal breaker for me bc I use it for baggies, but I wouldn't put my phone in there.Overall, I would probably buy it again because I find it comfortable. I'm a BIG girl and I walk a lot with my pups. Most running tethers I've tried are simply belts, and my girls pull when excited. The belts would come loose and I would end up with a back ache because the pressure from the pulling was localized to a smaller area. This set up eliminates that, making our walks more enjoyable.

Not comfortable.
Not comfortable, the option to attach the leash being on the side causes the waist belt to move all over and for him to pull me too much.Ordered a new one, different brand that has a double looped latch in the front, so much better!!

Excellent for casual walking/smaller dogs
My original intention in purchasing a dog walking belt was to have someplace to put my phone and to have a free hand. This is so much more useful than I thought it would be.I have a tiny, old, arthritic yorkie who likes to walk slow and stop frequently. Then I have an energetic, young cannonball (Boston terrier). I always have wait for my spouse to get home so we can walk the dogs together otherwise they tangle up and the little guy gets dragged and trampled. I had no intentions of walking both dogs with this belt but I tried it on a whim. The Boston was able to run ahead while the yorkie stayed behind. We all adjusted to it really quickly. Plus I accomplished my original goal, someplace to store my phone and a freehand to carry a drink. As far as the belts I’ve seen this one is the least bulky that still has the features I want. You can get slimmer belts but they don’t have any storage. This is also one of the only belts I’ve seen that fits a waist smaller than 34 inches. It has a great size range so the whole family can use it. This has been really useful for casual walks with our small/medium size dogs.

Initial impressions - customer service is good
I'm a long time two dog runner who was looking to replace my 2nd Olly dog belt. Olly dog doesn't offer theirs any longer so I took a chance on this one. The belt seems well built with a large zippered pocket for a phone/wallet and a small narrow mesh zippered pocket for what I have no idea. The leash that came with it appears sturdy. What I don't like.. the poop bag pockets on each side are tiny. There was little reason to slope those pockets so much and make them nearly unusable. I get rolls of grocery produce bags that I use for this purpose and I can only fit a few in these tiny pockets. These might be OK for very small dog bags.I also prefer a sturdy textile leash attachment piece like the Olly dog belt had rather than a metal on metal connection this belt has which produces even more jangling than I already have.It would also be nice to have a small pocket inside the large pocket to stash a "found on road dead id"This belt will be a compromise but the choices out there are slim at this point.

Running with my dog is so much easier now
This is perfect for stowing treats, poop bags, keys and phone when I go for shorter runs not requiring my running vest. I tried another hands-free leash, but it kept sliding and loosening, and I ended up with back pain or pressure points on my hips. The One Trail Hands Free leash has made running with my dog so much better. It's easy to grab it and my dog and go out the door. I keep it loaded with bags and treats. My arms are free so my neck feels better and my running form is too. It's adjustable, so my husband who is 6" taller and 60 lbs heavier can also wear it comfortably. I've had it for several months and it shows no wear. The lease attaches to either side, and the pack ends on on the side of a hip, which is no problem. Seems to be made very well. I expect it to be very durable and last a long time. I got an extra leash for the other side for my grand dog, but he is such a spaz he pulls me off balance. I need to train with him a bit more running with me on a regular leash, and do some weight training myself, then I should be able to handle both leashes and 2 dogs.

Great product, but
I wanted this item to replace the running harness i have for the dog and the bum bag i use for my essential 'bits'.And i must say at the outset that I do love this product, or at least the conceptOn the plus side good strong belt band which is a good length, sturdy stitching and fastenings. However, the pockets are too small. Once you have some tissues, phone and car key in the main pocket, that's it.Would like to be able to put I phone in for running apps. The side pockets will fit a yale lock key, no fob or some small change, not credit card etc.and the net pocket on the front? not sure what that's supposed to be for, a pen?If they made the pockets just a bit bigger it would be perfect for longer walks or running. Such a shame, a few tweaks and it would be amazing.

Great lead - nice to have my hands back!
I will qualify this review by saying up front that I have only been on one run so far with it. It's a great size from the point of view of storage, I don't think I'd need room for anything else on a short run. If I was running for longer, it would be nice to incorporate some sort of bottle holder (maybe there is another version for that?) to add on to the belt perhaps? I like the little netting bit on the front for treats - easier than getting a whole bag out of a big bouncing pouch and trying to open the top while running which was what I was doing previously! The little poo bag pockets are the perfect size to hold a full roll of poo bags, so no complaints there and I wouldn't want them any bigger taking up space from the main pouch. The pouch and strap are comfortable for me to wear, and don't bounce around which is great. I think the width of the strap helps with this. The clip is a solid sturdy one that seems like it will last... The lead is of really good quality. While it is on the heavy side as someone else commented, I didn't notice this as being an issue while running, and it feels like it will last... My only comment is that I wonder if it's a tad on the short side. It works beautifully most of the time and the length works well when running on roads or pavements or open spaces: the only issue is when you pass down a narrow footpath and your dog moves ahead of you, you need to unclip and hold the lead by the handle instead. Not a big issue and I guess that's what you're meant to do! But I felt as though an extra 6 inches would be a more comfortable hold with the dog out in front.

Disappointed
Really disappointed with this. The description leads you to believe that this bag is big enough to fit everything you need but it just about fits my phone, a dozen tiny treats and a couple of poo bags. No room left for keys or anything else required. It also slips around annoyingly while you are walking and the lead is insanely heavy.

Perfect
Got this to use for runs/ jogs with my samoyed. Its good and sturdy. Not too much room for a lot of stretch but we use it for narrow forest trails so perfect for us.Shes very happy wearing it too! Read some bad reviews but i think the pockets are perfect size . Can fit my phone, keys, poo bag and still little space.

I feel safe...
Had to write about this. I have found my saviour! Having 2 dogs its always been a fight & a struggle with my youngest who pulls like a tank. This secures her to me while having a hand free. I've got arthritis too aced this is so useful. I feel she is safe and I am safe from her pulling me over. Well worth it.
