Just amazed. Not a single leaf has got into my gutters. The company who installed the originals when I PURCHASED THEM said they were a new design and designed by a woman. They were horrible. I am a 74 year old woman and installed these on my shop sitting in the woods with mega leaves and pinestraw. I installed them one year ago and still have no leaves or trash get through and they effortly just side off. Quality product, great value, and function perfectly.

Gear alternative to gutter guard. It would be nice, if they came in longer lengths, but it was okay. They went in pretty easy. The only issue I found is on the inside 90° turns where the water congregates and runs down the flashing, they can't handle a heavy rain and the rain runs over the top. I ended up putting on corner breakers from home depot on the gutters to help disperse the rain on the corners, and that seemed to help a lot. Overall they work well.

On a past house I had a service company install a gutter protection system that did the job. That was a two story house that made it no fun to clean the gutters. Now I have a ranch home that allows me to clean gutters with just a 12' ladder. However, we have a lot of mature plantings around the house, and so it is difficult to get a ladder up to every where a clean-out is necessary. These Raptor gutter guards (they are available under various brand names, but all made by this company) are mesh like the expensive ones I had years ago. In doing my research I knew I had to have the micro mesh. Then I researched the best design, availability, flexibility (ease of doing corners), and price. Some brands have a slotted aluminum plate under the mesh. This might add strength, but it makes it harder to modify the shape when cuts are necessary. I found the Raptor mesh quite strong and b/c it is wavy, it keeps its shape (across the gutter). The 4 foot panels are easy to handle and easy to install. The whole job of 200' took a few hours, but I wouldn't be surprised if more time was spent moving the ladder and cleaning the gutters (for the last time), than actually installing the panels. I will say however, that the corners were tricky, but after a few, I got the hang of it. No more gutter cleaning for me. I'm a happy camper!

I boughtvthe same to see which size I need and style I want to use. Very helpful to buy a sample to see which is best for me. With that said the price could be a little cheaper but it beats paying a hundred bucks or more for something that will not work and be useless so I am happy

I've come to the conclusion that gutter guards won't work for me (or anyone else) because I live in Wisconsin where we may get significant amounts of snow on our roof. The nature of the Raptor Gutter Guard looks like it will work fine in months without snow. However, because the gutter guards don't let ice and water through when it's freezing, they will cause icicles to form which may then lead to ice backup under shingles. Therefore, no gutter guards will work in the winter conditions similar to what we have in Wisconsin.

Excellent build quality and performance. I installed this on our house which is surrounded by mature trees. The rear of house has 8/18 pitch of 30 feet. So gutters would fill up quickly with debris. They also held up great to pressure of months of winter weather and snow. with steep pitch on one side gutters load with snow and ice. Screens held up great. I prefer the screw in for a couple reasons, first, removing is easier should that be needed, second, the adhesive for stick on(S) is bound to break down. Which will make them easy to swap for screw ons someday. An A frame ladder or lift bucket will make for a much faster/easier install vs traditional ladder.

fit for 5 inch seemed good, for the 6 inch sample piece -------- will order enough to do half the house, will see how it does before ordering more STOP --- i was going to go with 5 stars, because thanks to amazon i was able to get the 9 dol i spent on the sample by returning it. the product will not fit perfect d/t metal roof, but i'll make do. my real gripe is the Brush they hang there hat on ( to give and edge up on competition )- free - ???? !st you scan part of instruction paper to register product, then you fill out forms and there is no indication what the "shipping " will cost BUT it comes without a handle and it is only 6-7 inches wide -- the handle will cost you 69.00 dol-- lets not forget shipping [brush handle can be had on amazon for 12 to 30 dol ] they can keep there "free" brush - i will give an update in a year or so. UP DATE -- UP DATE -- UP DATE ok i got the brush and it looks like it will be needed BUT the screens are preventing clogging , the cleaning has already been reduced ( i still refuse to get there brush handle ) - i am ordering enough to do another section of the house and am now up to 4 stars - will continue to evaluate and up date ----------up date --------had a mild winter so did not push really hard but it still looks good and functions as they indicated ------ up date ------ 1st cleaning and it went well, - covers were "covered" in popler cotton - yet continued to function, - i was prepared to use a power washer to clean them but found a hose on stream worked very well -- i used to have to clean gutters 2-3 times a week in spring and again a repeat in the fall --- looks like one maybe two cleanings a tear now

I had plastic gutter screens that were doing the job, but suffering some UV damage. These are well constructed with fine stainless screening. The wire is thicker than window bug screen, and much stiffer. The ribs are aluminum. I found these easy to screw into the metal gutters, and slip under the shingles. You could also use the 3M forever tape on the guards, but then how would you get in to clean out fine silt in the gutters? You want to bend them so you get a little dip before the edge, otherwise you may get overflows. You can bend the screens easily with your fingers. The aluminum and stainless steel guards are clearly fire-proof, and should last a life-time. This is a huge improvement in wildfire safety as flying embers landing in leaf filled gutters is a good way to burn your house down.

This is ridiculous to charge over $ 38 for a total of maybe 10 inches for both pieces sent !! I do not recommend this - don’t be ripped off like I was. Unfortunately my husband used to the two very small pieces otherwise I would have returned it immediately !! Not ok !
