Nice Tank, But...
Really a nice solid tank and the perfect look for what I was going for. That said, be aware that the tank is NOT paint ready. There were some welds that needed grinding on seams and around the bung hole for the gas cap, and a few teeny tiny rough spots that required a little bondo. The 3/8" mpt threads for the petcock were good but a couple of the 5/16" threads for bolting it down needed to be chased with a tap as they had some welding splatter in them. If you know a little about body work, it's no problem getting this tank ready to paint. If you don't know a little about body work, get the tank, watch some YouTube videos and give it a try. Nice thing about bodywork is you can always sand and start over again if you mess up.
