Love the remote that comes with the candles. Nice you can chose flicker or solid light. I didn't notice the brightness level dimming when I tried using that function but that's not an issue for me. So far so good!

PROS: Beautiful look. Easy to set up. Remote works great. Soft flickers are very attractive. Excellent for certain applications.CONS: Read the description and DIMENSIONS. These candles are small votive size. They are TINY, only 2" tall. I did not read the description information carefully enough before buying. I had quite a shock when I saw the little box with six tiny candles inside; was expecting each candle to be 4 or 5 inches tall. My mistake for not scrutinizing the description. That said, the quality seems fine.

I wrote a review earlier that was in error. Not sure if Amazon removed it at my request so I'm re-doing this review now. We've only had these candles for a few days in operation but we are very pleased with them. The remote tho does have to be in close proximity to the candles to work but for us, that's not a problem.

I was annoyed that these were not the same as pictured. Item came and it’s bright white color. You have to be in arms reach for the remote to work and when setting the timer, some of the candles functioned appropriately with the timer, others stayed on after the timer ran out.

I used these voltages during the holidays for a variety of decorations: inside small North Pole houses, inside the stable of a small manger, and amongst the little trees in a woodsy scene. They worked great! No unsightly wires to hide, and I didn't have to disturb the figures to turn the lights on and off. And with the timer function I never forgot to turn them off at night. I plan to use them to add a soft glow to special items in my china cabinets next.

I like these candles and now they are dang near to their end of life. You know why? NEVER RECEIVED THE REMOTE!!! I could have at least controlled the lighting and not leave them on constantly for 6 hours when I leave for work AT NIGHT!!! I'm not happy. Now, I have to re-order more Tealight Candles, just from someone else. Yeah, I say someone else because the original provider NEVER RESPONDED to my emailS!Thank you and everyone please stay safe and healthy :)

For an inexpensive product, I was surprised at how well the remote functioned. I got it to work from about 10 feet away, and have to point in direction if each candle individually. The flickering flame is semi-realistic. Solid purchase for a good price. I use them in garden candle holders so as not to catch the bushes on fire. I can’t imagine changing the batteries. Would likely just replace. Haven’t used the timer.
