This is a unique and versatile clamp. I'm using it to clamp a vertical rail on my panorama rig. It has solved a height problem that prevented me from getting the zenith shot. Problem solve. Now looking for other uses for this clamp. I'm thinking that 4 of these clamps and some rails would make a pretty nice camera cage. It seems to be well made and precise. The indexing on both clamps is accurate. My only complaint is that the jaws should open a few more millimeters. It's kinda tight to install the rails. That's not a biggy though, just a little annoying. No indication of country of origin. I'm assuming China. If it is, they are doing a first class job.
