New Thread / bobbins Kit for all Sewing Machines - Sewing Kit 100pc Set with Travel storage box

I almost always read reviews of any product before I purchase it. For some reason I didn't with this one and found a review with the same issue that I had with this item. The lesson, reviews are very helpful.I ordered two of these sewing kits to have at my office. On occasion someone will need a needle and thread or a button. The kit does have more types of items that I was looking for than I have been able to find in others.When I opened the box and saw that everything was spilled out of one box and some things were out of the other I first believed it was a shipping issue. As I reassembled the boxes I saw that the lids do not fit on the bottom of the containers. One of the lids was warped and broken and the other is just warped which will not allow them to close.I am going to keep the sewing kits because the price was low and it has my needed items, but will need to find another way to store them other than the cases they came in.

Overview: This sewing kit shipped quickly and came with all the pieces described. Overall, the quality is on the low side, but for many of the items, the important part is the function, not so much the quality.What I like: The price is hard to beat. The kit contains everything you need for basic mending and repair. There are many thread colors and needles to choose from.What I don't like: The plastic case that contains the kit is poorly made. The plastic on mine came warped so that the lid will not snap shut and stay closed on its own. I remedied this with two thick rubber bands to hold it shut. It would be difficult to put all the items in their original place if the lid failed and the pieces spilled. Also, this kit is a bit smaller in size than I expected.

I'm good at hand sewing and needed to start my own kit. The packing it comes in is really cheap and flimsy; it ended up in my trash on day 1. The kit, however, is great for beginners & for patching up your ripped clothing items. It doesn't have every color I need, but close enough. Also most all of the threads are doubles or even triples, so your basics are met. Overall its a good kit for a good price, but I recommend purchasing something to hold it all in. I'm using an old makeup bag. (:

This looks like it has a lot in it, but all the items look on the cheap side. Some other reviewers had commented on that, but I didn't realize what low quality the thread and other items would be. In hindsight, wish I would have just purchased items separately. That way I could have made sure the items were not cheaply made, and had higher quality items.

This product was a nice variety, But, the box that it came in, will not be used to keep these items in, due to cheap quality. Also the thread is cheap. This might be good for fixing up costumes.

although the supplies inside wheremore than suitable for the beginner. the outer case was cracked, full of scratches and one side closure was snapped clean off. left with little time before Christmas to make amends i hurried to walmart and found a very suitable organizer case and very reasonable. although i am usually very pleased with the quality at Amazon. This time Walmart saved the day.

It arrived cracked. That was disappointing. Everything was there and since it was a gift (with a sewing machine), I just gave it to my niece. She loved it!

The sewing kit works for it's intended purpose. Thread colors will at least blend in to almost anything, already fixed a skirt when I snagged it before an important date.
