After a lot of searching & comparing this is the best heater I found! Heats up quickly.
The 1 thing I'll start with is, make sure you use a heavy grade extension cord!!! For whatever reason, the outdoor cord I used got hot & melted the plug. I had used the same cord for a radiant heater I replaced for this one. This one gets hotter quicker & blows air further. We use it for our outdoor porch that's enclosed with a custom vinyl/canvas tent surround. At cold temps, 30*, the temp. reached 52*. If heats the 4x12 area pretty quickly. At frigid temps, 0* & below, it takes at least 15 min's. Very happy w/it!! The size is small, and very compact, so it takes up very little space. I considered a propane heater, however weighing out the cost of propane vs. electricity, as well as the inconvenience, this made more sense.

Small but Mighty
I bought this for my outdoor patio to warm our feet. It does a great job of that. I have it sitting on the floor alongside the table. If you need localized heat in a small area, say a12'x12' room maximum, this will heat it very nicely.Pros: The fan-forced air is hot on high! The housing is sturdy, mostly metal. The cord is long enough for most situations. It's a good, small area heater. Best used under a workbench, on a table top, in a small storage room, in the bathroom, small plant room or greenhouse, blowing toward your favorite chair to take the chill out of the immediate environs, etc. It throws out mucho heat for that kind of useCons: There is no tilt capability. The finger bolts only attach it to the frame. The heater is very small, about 6" in the housing. The ceramic element is only a 3"×3" square. This is not a good choice for a large room especially with a high ceiling a garage. It's simply too small.

And okay heater for the money
The heater doesn't put out the amount of heat that the description lead you to think it will. It's an okay heater for a small room that you need to take the chill off of but I would not depend on it to keep anything from freezing in very cold weather. My best advice for any heater need is to read the description and be sure you comprehend what it is telling you. Also do not go by the photos because they are pretty much all taken to make the product look larger than it is.This will be okay in the winter time in a regular house with normal insulation for use in a bathroom as supplemental heat when you're taking a shower, or in a small TV room that you need just a little touch extra heat but not for an extended amount of time.Good luck stay well, and God bless.

Fantastic!! 10 Stars!
ADDENDUM, Nov. 2024: Admittedly, I did not take care of this little heater. I left it out on the porch all through summer and it collected a fair amount of grime. It appears I have to buy a new one to get through another winter -- it is not putting out even half of the heat & fan power as last year. Is it my fault or just the life of the heater? I don't know. But at Black Friday prices, if I have to buy a new one every year, that's not so bad. I will take better care of the new one and let you know!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I couldn't afford much, but needed to find a space heater for my front porch for 3 feral cats I care for. The front porch is mostly enclosed, but not insulated and I have to keep the door open enough to let the cats in and out. I live in Colorado, so it's FREEZING in winter! I was worry so much about them. I searched Amazon for an OUTDOOR space heater, small (and affordable). Finally found this one! It had some decent reviews, and it was for OUTDOORS! Yay. Well, tell you what... this little heater has been FANTASTIC! It has worked like a champ all winter long, no matter how cold it got outside, this heater stayed on! It kept the porch nice enough that the cats loved it and stayed on the porch instead of disappearing to who knows where. And it never overheated or turned itself off! It worked fabulously.Details that might help someone: my porch is 6x13 ft. not insulated at all. We're talking about windows that leak, cracks around the doorframe. AND I have to leave the door open enough for cats to get in and out, but to help hold heat in, I used my staple-gun and tacked a shower curtain over the top of the door to hold in heat, and packing tape on the sides to hold the edges down. This heater worked great all winter!! Every day or two I have to wipe cat hair off the back where air gets sucked through. Never overheated--never turned itself off! I'll let you know if it lasts through next winter too! I highly recommend this little heater.

Works well, kept my greenhouse above freezing easily.
I used this in my 10x12 greenhouse. My greenhouse is not a fancy one. It's pallets, and plastic. I got this heater in the early spring when my greenhouse would still be dropping down to around 45 degrees at night. This little heater did it's job though. Kept it pretty consistently at 55ish. I have minimal insulation in my green house too. Some styrofoam inside the pallets, and a layer of the foil looking paper stuff. So for this to still keep it in the 50's at night, I am pretty impressed. I also never needed to have the temp turned all the way up to keep it in the 50's. like that it has an adjustable dial. It would turn on automatically when it got too cold, and turn off in the morning when it warmed up. Also like that it has a fan feature. Was able to put it away for summer, and will be using it again when fall hits.

Tiny
This thing is actually 6 inches tall. It will heat up a doll house. I thought this was an industrial heater, I was mistaken. It may heat up a small room. I purchased for my basement and it gets so hot that I am afraid to leave it on for more than 20 minutes.

A well-built and rugged heater
I've used this heater through two winters. It sits near my workbench in the garage. It has a strong fan so it kicks out a good amount of heated air. Some other small heaters tend to not have strong fans. Of course, the stronger fan also makes a little more noise. It looks more like a shop appliance than something you'd put in your bedroom.

Duration Heat 1500 w
Struggles to heat 12x12 shop when temp starts out at 56 degrees. Helps if your standing close to heater. Small heater for sure. If left on for a long time helps to bring room temp up mabey 4 to 5 degrees. My shop is not insulated but has a door I shut

Great Product
great little heater for small spaces. good quality. i like that the outside of it is metal and not plastic. it has a fan to blow the heat and isn't like a radiant heater
