Worth every penny for the freedom it provides!
My otherwise healthy near 50 husband was involved in an accident and was advised by the occupational therapist before leaving the hospital to get a tray like this for the walker he was going to be using for the next 12+ weeks. The occupational therapist assured him it would dramatically increase his independence, as he could get a drink of water, or a plate of food, or even a DVD or magazine and have a way to carry it from one place to another while using the walker, and he wouldn’t need anyone to stay with him all day to help with such things (meaning I didn’t have to take a leave of absence from my job to care for him). My husband spent 2 evenings in the hospital researching all the options available on the market, and determined this tray was the best “bang for the buck”.When it arrived, I opened up the box and happily found that there was NO ASSEMBLY needed. (Hurray!) Attaching it to the walker was easy to do. I have rheumatoid arthritis, and I was able to attach the tray without any pain or assistance; you press the 4 clips against the walker and it pops right into place with no chance that it will fall off, slide around or otherwise loosen. The tray it’s self has 2 cup holders that accommodate both the large, lidded hospital type insulated cups as well as standard kitchen glasses and mugs. We found that filling a cup/glass/mug to 1 inch below the top was just right to avoid accidental spills when going over door thresholds, so you don’t have to suffer with 1/2 a cup of coffee when you need a full one. The tray will hold a plate of food, silverware and a napkin, and one drink in each cup holder, to take to a table. The tray folds flat against the walker front so you can maneuver the walker right up against a stove, sink or counter without having to lean forward at an awkward angle, and it didn’t leave scratches on wood cupboards. A quick wipe with a dish cloth, wash cloth, baby wipe or sponge, and the tray is clean and ready to go again. The crumbs and debris don’t get stuck in corners or the cup holders, they come right up. In short, it does what the occupational therapist said or would— it gives my husband the ability to do things independently. Let’s face it, needing help to get a drink of water and the tv remote is frustrating for everyone, patient and caretaker alike, and this makes it easy. You can’t put a price on sanity, but you can find ways to keep that sanity that don’t break the bank. The only downside we found in using this tray is static cling. The tray edge seemed to collect dog fur whenever one of our 2 Labrador Retrievers walked by. I found that if I squirted Static Guard on a cloth and wiped the tray edge, or I rubbed it with a fabric softener sheet, the dog fur would come right off and not return for a few days. Not a big thing, but you don’t want dog fur either. This is the tray I will be recommending to everyone I know if they are advised to get a walker. I can’t imagine how anyone can have a walker and NOT have a tray like this.

Worth every cent!!! So functional.Highly recommended.
Worth every cent. This little tray attached so easily to the walker and is so unbelievably functional in so many ways!! I keep it fipped up and in use at night too, I keep the walker and tray next to my bed and keep my drinks, tissue, eye drops, etc on the tray at night. And during the day, it helps so much to carry anything I may need around the house ( my cell phone, food/drink, clothing, pen, paper, etc). I just don't know what I ever did without this tray on my walker! Akso, it does flip down easily if you want to, but, I find that I keep it up all the time because it is never in the way of walking and I always seem to need to carry something, so the tray is priceless. I highly, highly recommend you getting yourself or a loved one one of these wonderful, useful trays!!!! (Tip: Only thing they will need to get used to is carrying beverages. Just go slow and careful with a water bottle or a hot beverage like a coffee. Water bottles can be top heavy and coffee or tea mugs can drip out onto tray if you dont walk nice and slow. But if you go nice and slow and be careful, it is fine and works out just fine!)

Problematic Walker Tray
The media could not be loaded. This is a sturdy walker tray that is easy to secure to the walker, but it’s VERY challenging to move it from the vertical position to the flat/horizontal position for use. The design is problematic as the metal has to slide through grooves in the plastic tray and the tray catches and binds. It definately takes two hands and considerable effort. If you’re going to just keep it up all the time that won’t be a problem, but when wanting to get up close to a surface such as at a sink, it's difficult without moving the tray into the vertical position. It’s definitely more cumbersome than the Invacare trays that fit the Invacare walkers or the Yungatart walker tray. I’m speaking as an occupational therapist who’s very familiar with this equipment. (I chose this tray because it fits the super cute, pink Nova walker I purchased for my daughter with special needs knowing she’s more likely to use a cute walker than a standard gray one. I ended up having to discard this tray and purchase an Yungatart tray instead.)

great for my needs
Perfect fit for my guardian walker. I was so worried about the measurements listed and by other reviewers. I do not know the model number of my walker, we could not find it listed anywhere ( we received from the hospital). I went ahead with the purchase. It meets my needs, super easy to install and lets me help in the kitchen, get my own meals etc. I broke my leg and can only use my right leg for weight bearing. The tray does tilt toward me because of the design of the walker but it is not a problem. The tray is small, a large plate takes up all the space but again not a problem. I eat at the table anyway. This allows me to transport items around the kitchen. I place cellophane wrap over my cups to prevent spillage of beverages.

Great piece of equipment
My mother started relying on a walker a couple years ago. She lives by herself, and was having a very difficult time carrying plates/bowls for meals, and just things in general. Looked into other walker trays that slide on over the top bars, but they take up the entire space inside the walker where your body needs to be. Unsafe for someone dependent on it for stability. This tray only takes up a small amount of room inside the walker, and is still easy to walk with it even when folded out. Bonus that you can flip the tray up (goes flat across the front of the walker) when not in use, and still be able fold the walker sides in for easier transport in vehicles without having to remove the tray. Raised sides around the tray are great for carrying food, and plenty of space on the tray for a full sized plate etc. Cup holders are great. Very easy to install, just push the arms onto the walker. No tools, just a small amount of muscle. A well thought out design, and great piece of equipment to have. It has proven to be very handy for her. Her walker has a bar across the top unlike the one shown in the picture so we weren't sure if it would work, but we just clipped the tray down a little lower so it goes under the bar and it works wonderfully. Very clever.

Works well.
Works very well. My Mom in law was recuperating from a hip operation and this enabled her to carry her food/dishes to and from the kitchen. She was happy that she could gain her independence quicker.

Walker tray
Seems like an excellent product sturdy but strong.Trouble was it did not fit the walker I had.The side supports were too long and did not fit. Also the enclosed instructions gave info on the types of walkers it fitted. This info and.Measurements on the web site would have been helpful and avoided the need to return although I must say that the return was really easy and refund prompt.Thank you.
