They gave me an INVALID KEY so it doesn't work at all
The bulb was exactly right but when I installed it and plugged in the base controller with the new bulb key inserted, I immediately got a message stating BULB KEY INVALID and get the loud warning beeps. Therefore this $120 uv bulb is completely useless unless I can get a replacement, but I'm having trouble contacting the seller.

UV Lamp
Perfect fit for my BlackComb water purification system. I do wish these bulbs weren't so expensive however. The reset key did come with the bulb which is a plus. My research however, on the effectiveness of UV light in purifying water was a bit interesting and I could not find anywhere any tests that proved conclusively or otherwise that this type of water purification actually works as stated. Normally, in order to kill off and purify water or other substances the water or surface needs to be exposed to teh right type of UV light for at least 30 seconds to much longer. So this begged the wuestion how can this really work if water is creaming through the tube past this bulb how effective can it really be?

Reset key was incorrect
The bulb is great and fit, however the reset key was incorrect and wouldn’t reset my alarm.

Does not include reset key!!!
Does not include key to reset control unit. Opened the package and it was a bulb only. Unfortunately I bought this to have a spare for the following year. I should have opened the box once received. Bulb is useless without key. Bulb was nicely packed and unbroken. I recommend checking contents of box as soon as you receive it.

Déçu du monopole
La lampe UV ne fonctionne pas avec la nouvelle clé, affiche sur écran clé de lampe invalide, après avoir communiqué avec le vendeur du Kit, il dit que c'est normal car je ne l'ai pas acheté dans son magasin et que la boîte électrique refuse toute clé acheter en ligne ( Amazon) même le manufacturier blackcomb me l'a confirmé.La question : pourquoi alors vous le vendez sur Amazon.Ça fait de moi un client frustré du monopole exercé par le détaillant avec la complicité du manufacturier!!!
