Fantastic product
I had etched glass from water on my shower glass that nothing would touch. Finally tried to use 0000 steel wool and wouldn't touch it. Finally realized the glass was etched and it was not a scum coating. Looking at it under a 14x hand lens and the etching was easy to see. So figured why not try this kit. WOW. Tried it out on a small section and glass was totally clean again, no marks. I did find that after you run the drill a little bit the paste became quite dry. Added some water sooner than they recommend and it worked much better. My drill only goes to 1200 rpm and it was fine for what I was using it for.Yes, it takes time and the drill can get warm. Will just do about a 1.5 foot square section at a time and it will be done soon enough. More than that and that drill does get warm. Expect I'll have to get more Cerium Oxide and make my own paste before the job is done.

Yes, it works
I was pleasantly surprised. Product removes wiper marks, which is what is advertised. It does not remove scratches that catch your fingernail no matter how long you polish, but it improves them, which is what i expected. I recommend that you use an oscillating multi-tool with a "finger sanding pad" with a velcro backing, vice a drill with the included pad. Much less messy and provides 10X more 'oscillations' per second Cut the included felt polishing pad to fit the finger pad. This is not a 15 minute job; be patient, work in sections of about 10-12 inches at a time, use a spray bottle often to wet the cerium oxcide as it dries.

Works very well on glass shower door, but have lots of patience and a good power tool
My fifteen year old glass shower doors have been slowly getting more build-up. I tried everything to clean them: CLR, muriatic acid, car cutting compound, vinegar, baking soda, you name it. I came across this product via a video on YouTube and decided to give it a try. I used my drill at first, and then an orbital sander. It took over six hours of work with three passes in total, but the results are amazing. The glass went from semi-opaque to completely see-through with almost (it isn't perfect) no residue left on the door. I could have done more passes but it got a bit tedious towards the end...I suggest you watch the videos online from this company to get the correct technique, and pay attention to the re-wetting of the pad to make sure the slurry stays active. I only used 1/2 of the solution during the cleaning, so use just a small amount each time you load up the scrubber. Highly recommended.

Power, plug in drill... Must!
Plan on your have going numb due to the hours of drill vibration.... If you can get someone else to do it for you.... Do it! I did it for about 45 min... It's going to take a few hours more. I do feel it will work after all is said and done. I had no choice because zero glad places in Salt Lake will repair wind shield scratches. They just want to replace it... Not today Falecia! I'll get it done but... Seriously... It's not an easy job.

This product was not worth what I paid. My ...
This product was not worth what I paid. My windshield is scratched enough where it affects your vision but not deep enough to catch your fingernail. After a half hour on one spot I didn't see a noticeable difference. The scratches were there. It did remove water marks so Ill give the product 2 stars since it did do SOMETHING but not enough for my needs.

IT WORKS!!!! Yay!!!
I HAD a lot of scratches on a '99 Saturn due to the previous owner's lack of wiper replacement. When the window was dry it was merely annoying. However, during rain, fog, ice or anything resembling weather, it went beyond annoyance to hazardous. I looked and looked for something to take care of this. And frankly, I didn't see myself replacing the windshield since it's quite expensive.I searched for something that would take care of this issue. I finally found on Google some info on "glass polishing" and "cerium oxide." From there, it was just a matter of finding the best price I could. While some of the scratches could not be removed due to the depth of the scratch, the view out my windshield is SO much better. It's to the point that I now notice scratches on the PASSENGER window. If you're SUPER crazy about clean windows you could even use this product to simply super clean them. The difference is really striking.I would recommend you read the "sparse" instructions carefully. Then, watch some youtube videos on how to use this stuff. It'll help a lot and give you some good tips on how not to shatter your windshield. (Yes, it is possible to do just that.) Also, try to either pick a sunny day or do this work in a VERY well lighted area. Lastly, be patient and expect to spend HOURS on the job. Considering the cost of a new windshield, you'll come out WAY ahead of the curve. Unless you're a lawyer or some other ridiculously well paid individual.Good luck and happy polishing!!!!

Does Not Work
1st it was obvious the kit had been used before. The pads were tan from the polish and there was polish around the lid. There was plenty of polish remaining so I tried it anyway. No effect. None. I followed the instructions exactly. My advice is don't waste your money. One of my very few negative reviews.

No more white discolored on my Stove glass top
Bought a new stove with a glass top and while I was cleaning it, I caused a discolored white spot on it. Thank God for that product, my stove is new again with the original shine.I just used the pad without the drill with a bit of cream and buff it until the gloss came back.

Not great, but…
It really doesn’t do much at all for scratches on glass, even just really light ones and yes I used patience and perseverance to no avail. Yes it ‘polished’ the glass but there are far cheaper and easier products to achieve this in my opinion. HOWEVER, for polishing of resin art, this worked an absolute treat as the final step, so it redeemed itself for me personally haha
