UPDATE: I thought this product had died on me, but I dropped it a couple times by mistake while changing batteries which somehow revived it. I changed my 3-star rating to a 5-start rating.I purchased this light three years ago and it worked fine--it was sensitive to motion and very bright; however, it now won't work at all, but I am thinking about purchasing another one anyway since I was pleased with it before.

The installation for this product was very easy, make sure you have batteries on hand! It is able to detect night from day, so you do not have to worry about draining your batteries over a short period of time. The light distance is effective for porch lighting and walkway lighting, I'm not sure I would recommend these for driveways. As for myself, I've had these up for a couple months underneath my porch and they work fine. The elements do not seem to bother them, but they've never been directly rained on so I cannot vouch for the waterproof claim.These are a God-send for places that lack wiring or installed motion lighting. They light up well and detect very fast (faster than the spotlights wired up around my home).

I bought two for out back to let me know when the dogs are at the door. They work great with the exception of one lost one of the LEDs. Units are very bright, come on easily and stay on for an appropriate amount of time. I was worried ab out battery life but seem to be getting about 5-6 months out of them. the batteries are easy to replace.

This battery operated motion light works good. I use them when taking my pets out after dark in the backyard. Also hung them on my walls where they don’t get direct Texas heat during the day.

We moved into an apartment complex and the lighting outside our stairwell is nearly non existent. On occasion, I have to take my dog out at night to use the bathroom and this has made me feel so much safer doing so. Our neighbor mentioned that he appreciates it as well since he works nights and can now see to unlock his door. Easy to install, motion detection is great and the cost was a no brainer.

The unit works ok. The instructions are very poor, need to slide off small base plate and mount it to your surface using plastic anchor plugs which makes attaching to a thinner wood surface less practical.

We needed a light for when we get in at night. This is a very bright light and it goes off by itself. It also lets us know when the dog wants in. The only thing I found that could be changed was the instructions on mounting it. It was difficult for me to understand.

I purchased this light 2 years ago (Nov. 2022) and at first the product seemed bright enough and worked well. Eventually, about a year later, only 3 led lights would turn on—and that was after replacing the batteries. Not recommended.

I mounted this on back porch near stairs and keeps working, powerful LED's; a great safety solution. Great value and solid construction. Hardware stores and electronic stores didn't have anything of similar to offer.
