Garage Vent 300 CFM | Rid your garage of moisture/humidity

This works as advertised to get rid of humidity in a garage. I have in floor heat in my garage in northern Wisconsin. It creates a lot of moisture from melting snow off of the vehicles. The fan is a little noisy, but does get rid ot the moisture.

This unit was very easy to install and a very effective tool for humidity removal. As a plus, it comes with a 15 foot plug so you won't have an issue finding an outlet. Also, it uses very little electricity

This fan is well designed, shipped in excellent packaging and reasonably effective. To be fair I say "reasonably" because I'm using it to keep condensation out of a garage that is about 10 % larger than the size for which it is rated. So it takes a while to clear condensation and has to run for several days continuously to do so.The instructions were very clear except that I think they would benefit from more realism for garage use (The recommendation to situate the fan opposite the garage doors is likely impractical because that is often an interior wall for an attached garage. Similarly the recommendation to locate it a few feet off the floor is impractical because parked vehicles will obstruct it.) I recommend purchasing the install kit - it just makes everything easier.

I turned my 12x24 storing building into a hot tub room. After moisture proofing the walls and ceiling with foam board and metal siding. I installed 150 cfm bathroom ceiling exhaust fan. That was not enough because I had moisture dripping from the ceiling. After installing the 300 cfm wall exhaust fan and installing two fans on the opposite wall blowing towards the exhaust fan I have no moisture problems when I'm in the hot tub.

I bought 2x300 cfm garage fans , really dropped humidity level in garage . After about a year one fan started making a scraping noise. Contacted Garage Vent they sent me a return label right away returned the fan had a new fan at my door within a week .WOW ! The service was amazing! Great product, great service !

300 model. It's not ~68 decibels. Measured with my own meter and I get over 80-85. Humidity control is not accurate. We put it in a room temp. to see what it would do. It ran non-stop when set to the "50" mark. Humidity in that room is ~35%. Dehumidifier didn't turn on at all and secondary gauge confirmed ~35%. If you don't care about noise or the inaccurate control, the go for it.

The unit arrived in a well packaged shipment including easy to follow installation instructions and a couple of can coozies. I didn't purchase the pro installation kit, I merel drilled a center alignment hole through, then marked my circle and cut it out with a jig saw from each side. The unit is relatively quiet for the out od air it moves. I have the 300cfm in a 30'x44' heated garage and it pulls the humidity down in the class to keep condensation off the block, doors, and windows. Unit kicks on and off as it should.
