This definitely isnt your cornerstore cheap-O $20 knofe .The quality really is awesome .clip is tight.the texture of the g10 scales are nice when wet .The opening flick is smooth .i will say the blade is D2 so be carefull, it's hard and will stay sharp but the tip will snap if it hits something hard .i love the jade semi-transparent scales are the best looking option in my opinion . Can’t beat for the price
Let me say I am a knife guy at heart. I love cold steel knives, kershaw, zero tolerance, and many other American companies, but for the price I have had nothing but good results from the couple Chinese made pocket knives I’ve bought. This is one of them. I give them as gifts to my sons knowing they will not be taken care of and if lost not a big deal. As for performance I have gutted deer with this brand and use a couple other Chinese made knives. All have been easy to sharpen and keep their edges.. if you’re looking for a pretty rugged pocket knife with a great price value then you can’t go wrong with this company. I’ve also bought their fixed blade knives for gifts but they tend to be a lot on the heavy side. Strong but heavy.

Thick for size
I really like eafengrow knives. I have quite a few knives in my collection, ranging from more expensive spyderco and emerson models to a range of $20-ish knives. These are fun to mess around with. The only issue with this model is that for a smaller pocket-carry, it's pretty thick. It'd be an awesome daily knife with the blade size but sadly it's just too thick IMO for the length. Other than that, grind is even, lock is secure, action is smooth, fit and finish are great.

Awesome knife for the price
Pros.... Super sharp out of box. Vibrent red color (red is my favorite color). Beefy blade stock can put up with a lot of abuse. The d2 from Eafengrow has always been a great steel easy to sharpen but stays sharp. Great fit and finish. Excellent jimping.Cons.... It's a to small for my large/medium hands. No extra room for gloved work.

Great tool. Needs small fix.
I love this knife. It's very ergonomic. It's heavy in the hand, but not too heavy to move. Blade comes pre-sharpened, but could use a touch up, which I did. The ONLY ISSUE I HAD with it, was that the blade was a little loose. So, I pulled out the screw, put a drop of Red Threadlocker on it, and put it back in. You have to get the tension of the screw just right, or you will either not be able to flip the knife open all the way, or it will open on its own. I got it just right, waited for an hour to let it set, and it works flawlessly. Great knife for young adults (if you trust them). I really recommend also checking out the Eafengrow store here on Amazon. They have other great knives. 👍

Great value
I don't write a lot of reviews here, but I'm really happy with this knife. It has a couple of minor things I would like to be different, but those are not quality related. The quality for this price is outstanding. The quality on this folder is very good. If I were willing to pay 100 bucks for a pocket knife, I'd expect it to be like this little gem. But the thing is, I have a tendency to lose track of knives. And I like to have them squirreled away around the most likely places I use them, as well as in the cars. So 20 bucks is "high end".For years I preferred to stick with old skool knives - Barlows, canoes, toothpicks. Of late the steel in these types has been decreasing in quality in the budget models. Started branching out. Of late my favorite has been a Schrade(sch106). But I think that this Eafengrow is well worth the slight difference in cost. The only cons I see are the blade profile as delivered and the tip up carry using the pocket clip. I knew it was tip up when I bought it. As for the blade profile, this is common across the board. I'd like the bevel on the cutting edge to extend a bit further back from the edge, more similar to a flat ground blade. Hard to find in this price range. The overall blade profile suits my tastes as far as length and the shallow curve in the belly. It is ground from a blank that appears to be about 4mm thick at the base, so I can't imagine how I could ever damage it.[The micrometer is out in the shed or else I'd have measured it for y'all]. I would like to find something similar that is a bit thinner maybe. Not a big deal.Good utility blade for the money. It is not a razor knife, but it could play one on TV. It made short work of the 6 or 7 boxes I needed to stuff in recycle bin.
