I am very impatient and goal oriented person. I hate the slow process of actually working on a task...but this was a very pleasant experience!The instructions were very simple and easy to follow with clear, descriptive pictures. Even if you don’t follow the steps in order (I’m not) it will still come out great! I’ve been working on this for about 8 hours and I’m almost finished with it. Looks just like the picture!Only note I have is that you will need your own glue and scissors. I found hot glue to work the best.

cute and fun product. it came with all needed including wireing for little lights, but no battery pack to put them into. I have no idea where to find such a thing but I will. Know this going in, you will need the battery pack.

This is my second kit, the first came out outstanding except for the dustcovers.....what a nightmare! Not every glue was meant for gluing plexiglass, I swore I would know how to glue the second kit correctly because I learned from the first one I made...well...I was wrong.....they really should tell you exactly what kind of glue will hold plexiglass together...I had to start it over 4 times before I threw it in the trash and had to order the snap together kind of acrylic display that was larger than the model and cost just as much!...I was meticulous in trying to glue it with horrible results...shame....also the batteries you will need were not printed on the instruction booklet at all...I had to use 2 cell batteries size LR44, if that helps anyone....have fun!

Everything about this DIY was pretty much terrible. The supplies to assemble it were low grade. The paper was flimsy to make the chocolate boxes and the information on this site said that it requires AAA batteries when in fact, it requires watch batteries. I have no idea what size. I would have never bought this kit had I have known in advance.

Fun product to work with. Instructions were good and lighting was easy. I changed mine to to Charlie and Chocolate factory for auction at a Tim Burton themed fundraiser.

Flimsy pieces, trying to make a tiny chair out of wire was futile and too much gluing of tiny paper pieces. Not fun to make and i ended up binning it in frustration. Would not recommend

So cute and fun to put together, especially the tiny food! Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Enjoyed this DIY miniature tea shop kit so much I just ordered the matching blue cafe.

Product arrived with all pieces included and undamaged, and looked very cute when complete!In terms of the process: the instruction booklet was fairly easy to understand (a couple of modules were a bit unclear, but it wasn’t a problem); there was more paper cutting and glueing than I had expected; and it did take a very long time but it was worth it.As for glue, I recommend the Aleene’s original tacky glue.

Got this for my mother who loves making miniatures. She was excited to make it. I think it was a good value for the product.

It was a good looking set but it was relatively hard to build since some parts requires you to hold it in place while it is drying furthermore, the wiring underneath the lamp post makes it tilt to one side.

Lots of fun for my first DYI build. Was disappointed to see the included dust cover was not included.I’ll have the project finished today and then I’m going to find another one to buy. I’ll have to buy a dust cover too as I live on the prairies. I will display it in the bedroom I use for the grandchildren when they occasionally stay overnight. It’ll be a nice surprise and I wonder how long it will take for them to notice it up on the high shelf.Oops..Just found the dust cover. I’d left it in the box. Edited my review to 5 stars.
