Just runs a little small. *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2012* Ordered these pants from Amazon because of the outrageous prices that dominate softball pants. I ordered 2 pairs. I ordered a small pair for my daughter who wears a 14/16 in girls or a 0/2 in womens. I was worried they may be too big but fit perfectly. I ordered the medium for my daughter who typically wears a women's 7 petite or a 16 1/2 from Old Navy. The medium was just a little to small, especially when she wore the mandatory sliding shorts. The cut is great. Most uniform pants are unisex and sag in the crotch but these fit close to the body. They are also the right length. They hit about upper calf so those cute ball socks will show. The material is thick enough that you won't have to worry about tears or picks from sliding. They also wash up really well. I bought a men's pair at a sports store just so I would have some in case the ones I ordered online didn't come soon enough. After researching several different pairs that are found on Amazon I was torn if I should go with the more expensive pair or the cheaper ones. I didn't want to spend $30 since I will only be playing for a short time, so after much deliberating I settled on these. The sizing was difficult for me to gauge and I looked at sizing on other softball pants available on Amazon and reviews other people had written. I am a female, pant size usually 10-12 depending on brand...I ended up ordering the XL in gray and they fit perfect....not too tight and not too loose. The material is great (much better than the ones I had bought previously at the other sports store) and comfortable. They seem well-made and durable although I have not worn them in a game yet. As of now, just based on fit and material I would definitely purchase these again!This picture does not do these pants justice! The material is great on these pants and has held up. LET ME EMPHASIZE! The cut and material is great!!!!!
