Everything is ok and great. They fit perfectly
Ok, so everything is ok and great. They fit perfectly, the little tie downs at the bottom of each leg makes them easy to adjust to prevent dragging. Now I know what material this is but the funny part is that it says its 100% Cotton on the pants tag, and its not 100% cotton. This pair of pants are mislabeled making me believe that they are not real and a knockoff of Propper pants. Now who gives a **** because I rather have the material stated here. Note that this pair of pants are not 100% cotton even tho the pants label says they are. This is a mixture material of Poly and Cotton so you are getting what you paid for. I dont care about them being mislabeled since this could be a manufacturer error because the description here is exactly what i received. They are tough and def worth the money. I was not paid to write this review by the way, I actually paid for what i wanted and got what i wanted that I even ordered two more right before i wrote this review. The size is very accurate so as usual go one size up and not one size down when it comes to length. Also, i did wash them and they only shrink about 1/4" in lenght. They may look big as you take them out of bag but once you wash them once and try them on they will fit perfectly. Update: THE TWO OTHER PANTS I RECEIVED TODAY ALSO SAY 100% Cotton and they are not. Details on Amazon say they are poly and cotton. Once again the tags on the pants itself also say 100% cotton but they are not so take note of that when you order unless the seller updates his details about them being two different materials when clearly they are not. This is a mixture of Poly and Cotton so don’t be alarmed when you see the stitched size and brand tags saying they are 100% cotton when they are not. There was a review here about some guy getting some that said propper brand but also said gear. Brand or not the materials are worth the $35 spend. I purposely put one in a dryer 4 times in a row and only shrieked 1/4”. The material does show cotton traces if you can distinguish it but you also have the poly feel. Pants do not wrinkle and are great for my use. I believe this material in hot summer days might kick your a** but thanks to the buttons and not zipper you will get some fresh air in the right places....lol Overall this is quality I care about and not branding so I give them my 5 stars no matter what. Pants are used in daily engineering department use at a maintenance casino and they def put up with the abuse. I would still be careful because if you get caugh on a sharp edge you wont have much protection as you do with regular cotton jeans.

Great BDU pants
Typical great quality and fitment from Propper. Enough room to make them very roomy without restricting movement. Plenty of pockets and sturdy button closures. These are priced right and are exactly as described. I have been wearing their quality BDU pants for many years. I get several years of hard use out of them. The ripstop fabric works very well for tears and they breathe decently in hot weather. Lightweight and easy to pack if you are using them for that. If you do rip them very easy to sew up and due to material it holds very well without coming back undone.

Like the old school BDU.
The pants are good. They feel very similar to the old school BDU pants if not the same. They seem durable. Sizing is spot on (with the size chart, not necessarily your preferences). I took 1 star off because the pants had a small stitching mistake. Looks like the stitch got a little wonky and they went back and fixed it without fully removing the mistake stitch. It's just superficial. The pants are still in good working order, no holes. I didn't buy them for the prom so they'll work good.

Finally I rediscovered the perfect pants! Tough, roomy, comfortable, well-thought out!! (PRO TIP at end of review)
Finally I rediscovered the perfect pants! These pants are durable, built tough enough for the most demanding work environment yet ar comfortable and roomy enough the lounge around in with out cramping your relaxation. I had a pair of these years ago and never knew the name of them. I purchased a few of the rival brands and while they were just about at the same level of quality, they just weren't as comfortable or as well laid and thought out. I am ecstatic that I finally found the pants I've been raving about for years! Now I'm not a very wealthy person so I am rather hesitant at spending over $30-$40 on a pair of pants unless I know they are going to last me. The last pair of these i had lasted me over ten years and they were both my rugged, go to work pants while doing the random jog doing anything form clearing brush to layaing asphalt and they were simultaniously my saturday lay around and lounge pants. Since they were comfortable and roomy enough to accomodate the most hard core lounging. Of course this double duty meant they were getting laundered a lot which is one of the most destructive processes clothes can go through and the held up perfecxly. (A little tip: if your clothes aren't THAT dirty, you know if they're just normal, everyday dirty then wash them on permanent press with 60-70% detergent on cold and your clothes will last A LOT longer) Also these pants are well thought out and proportioned very well. Another great thing is the pocket size and lay out. Thesethings don't have pockets in the wrong places. You know those ones that when you start walking fast they start to create partial orbits around your legs like your keys are some failed NASA attempt to break low Earth orbit. The other extreme is the mini pocket that you can't even get your first finger into let alone your wallet. Well these pants have huge accomodating pockets, angled right and placed hjust right too. PRO TIP: Just one more thing when ordering, I order mine one size up in the waist measurement because there are really well functioning cinches on the sides of the waist so even if the waist size is a little bit too wide you can just sinch them tighten them to the perfect size. (a feature that is missing in the rival companies) In other words I am a medium (33-34") waist and a regular (32") length so I would normally get a medium regular. Well I get a large regular which is made for a larger waist size (36-38") because even if I gain more girth at the waist I can always cinch the sides of the waist to get the perfect fit. That way I won't out grow them since their built to last a long long time.

Find the right size
Sizing on these pants seems to be hit or miss. As does the construction. But when you find the right pair they are great. I’m 5’10” and weigh about 165lbs on a bad day. In my docker khakis that I wear at the office I’m a 34x32. But that’s only because I conceal carry and you need room for that. Following that logic and based on the chart I ordered a medium reg. Since these are BDUs I assumed that they would be large enough for a concealed holster. Wrong. Even without gear I couldn’t zip them up. And my legs barely fit in. Further, I had chosen tan (dark brown) as my color. Color was beautiful but they were zipper closure in the front, like normal pants. Not terrible but BDUs are generally button closure. I sent them back and was forced to get olive green since nothing else was available in large regular. They fit perfectly with or without gear. They also have buttons in the crotch and no zipper. Would definitely recommend as long as you are careful with size.

4th Time is the charm...
UPDATE in Fourth Attempt below First of all, I'm not sure how to indicate the fit. I just ordered my 4th pair in my attempt to have a pair fit properly. First attempt - The Propper website has different sized listed than the Amazon site does. Consequently, the inseam length I ordered was appropriate for the Propper site. Not Amazon when it arrived. Result - Too Long. But I liked the fit otherwise. Second Attempt - I ordered the exact same thing. I went from a Medium Long to a Medium Regular. That is the only thing that changed in my order. However, when I received it, it went from being poly/cotton to 100% cotton, which I did not want. Result - Different material Third Attempt - I ordered the Medium Regular again through a different vendor. This time it did come with the desired poly/cotton blend. The size was clearly marked as "Medium Regular." HOWEVER, after pulling out my measuring tape, the waist was a nice 40 inches! The medium regular should be, according to the Propper website 31-35. Fourth Attempt - FINALLY the correct size came. The fit is as expected. I immediately washed them. And, even though they are 60% Cotton/40% Poly, they did shrink slightly. Washed cold, dried cool. But, they still fit as expected and do appear to be a quality garment. The pants to appear and feel to be quality made. But, I'm at a loss about why they are all over the map with sizes. Fortunately, I have a Prime account. So, sending them back each time was an equitable option.

Comfort and functional
Proper fit and good for being outdoors. Looks awesome and the cargo pockets add functionality. Material is made of ripstop and feels lightweight so even though it is dark, will not make you feel like your burning up in warm weather.

Good uniform pant
Good uniform pant. Only thing I don't quite like is the fitting cord on the sides. Would've been good as well if the shirt colour matched exactly to the pants. Was slightly off. And not crazy about the button up crotch
