I love the fit and feel of this on my P1000. Use of this did not restrict access to anything on the camera. You still have a tripod mount on the bottom of this device. I use a hand mount and I am still able to use both with no problems. I would recommend. Fast shipment with Amazon Prime.

This is a well made product and fits my camera and it is protected well. It makes the grip so much better and easier to handle the camera!

The one (massive) size fits all will stand out due to its capabilities and features more so than its size alone. No need to carry multiple lenses and switching them at the risk of losing a great shot. As a former film camera hobbyist of 20 years ago, I’m launched into the future so fast, I forgot to read bring a manual. Really it’s so straightforward out of the box and easy to take advantage of it’s overwhelming, redeeming feature, the ZOOM lens. Careful, “you’ll poke your eye out kid!” Seriously, the optics, digital features, and the fantastic photos it takes will make you look like a professional. Best money I ever spent. Yeah, that’s the moon shot (on a tripod) with this camera and wi-fi’d to my cell phone.

This case fits on the bottom of the camera. On the actual bottom of the camera is a door to access and change the battery or memory card. The leather case is divided in two on the bottom with one half a flap you can raise to access the battery compartment. It works great until you attach the base of a tripod attachment. Once you screw this on so you can affix the camera into the tripod, you no longer have access to the battery compartment. When screwed down in place, the tripod base screws down and blocks the flap from opening. It wouldn't have to. There is plenty of room if only the flap were the size of the battery compartment door. It isn't though. The flap is a few times larger than it need be. It is incomprehensible that someone designed this and then tried it out. The correct design that keeps everything working and available is so obvious. What a stupid design. What a terrible product!!!

I feel much safer toting my camera around now that I have this case, and I still have access to all the camera's buttons and doors. I mounted the camera on a tripod without removing the case. I have a better grip if my hands are a little damp too. There might be cases that are thicker and more substantial, but it seems to me, this case is a very good balance between, price, weight and function.

P1000はP900と違って持ち重りがするので、カメラを置いて撮影することが多くなり 底部に傷が付き易くなりそうなので、保護材として当製品を購入してみました。 使用感ですが、 利点１．P1000にフィットしてカメラ下部を保護できます。 利点２．開閉フラップ方式採用で電池交換・SD交換時、当製品を取り外ししなくても 良いように工夫されており、便利です。 難点１．グリップ部を覆うため、どうしてもレンズ鏡筒とグリップの間隔が狭くなって しまうのでグリップを掴むと中指先端が当たってしっくり来ない。 浅く握れば問題無いが、長時間持って歩くのは辛い。 難点２．カメラと雲台の間に当ケースの三脚取り付けネジが存在しているため、当ケ ースの取り付けネジをかなりきつく締めないと雲台側で外そうとしたとき 当ケースの取り付けネジごと外れてしまうことがありました。 構造上仕方がないのかも知れないが、もう少し当製品側のネジがきつ目で あれば助かるのですが。 ＊多少重くはなりますが、なにかの拍子でボディに傷をつけることが気にならなく なるので、その分撮影に集中できるのが気に入っています。
