TubShroom Ultra

I love this product! Before buying this I was using a old fashioned wire mesh product that was messy and gross to clean out. This tub shroom is super easy to clean, not messy, doesn't get clogged up and fits my tub perfectly. I use the tub plug too and that works well

If there is ever a product that I will always recommend, this is it! It catches all of the hair and it is really easy to clear that trapped hair. I also use the plug part when I run bathwater. It seems to seal well in my tub. It is really well made. You should seriously buy this!

This product does a good job at catching hair and is super easy to clean. It doesn't make the bath tub look weird and fits in perfectly. No complaints, super happy with this!

So, I got this because I have exceptionally long hair and I didn't want to continue digging in my drain to make sure our water could drain in the shower. This has helped astronomically in that regard, I find that if the shower starts to build up water, I can just take it out, clean it (which takes maybe 10-20 seconds depending on the amount of debris), and then the water is draining perfectly again. I do appreciate that it came with a stopper as well because the one that came with the house when we bought it was very poor and the universality of it means that we can continue using it even if we change drain sizes. Ironically, sometimes I find it works a little too well. For some reason, my partner or I tend to carry a lot of lint on us so I have to clean the catcher fairly often because it fills with lint (in addition to hair) which maybe I find a little unnecessary since lint doesn't get stuck in my drain regularly. That is really the only downside to it, otherwise it's a perfect product

Easy to “install”, pretty much plug’n’play. Not noticing any difference in drainage speed except when it’s full of hair. Definitely has done its job stopping the hair going down the drain. Easy to clean out as well. Love it and wish I had bought one earlier!

It stays in place and catches a LOT of hair. Glad I bought this👍🏻

This particular model is an improvement over the original TubShroom because it is made of stainless steel instead of plastic, which eventually cracked. It actually looks good and works to catch hair because it fits in the drain rather than over it. It also comes with adapters to fit most tub drains.

I've used multiple drain protectors, and the Shroom is by far the best. They are durable and, most importantly, do a great job. Easy to clean and easy to install. I have an older, small drain, and the device came with a changeable bottom that fits my tub drain perfectly. It doesn't slow the drainage at all until I need to clean out what it's caught. The tub stopper was a nice perk, too!

Moved to a new house and was pleased to discover that this drain was the right shape for a TubShroom. It does a really good job of catching hair. Stays in place, which a lot of other models didn't. Still lets the water drain, even if it's clogged.

Love this product - it works great. I had a lot of trouble with the store though - they sent out the wrong product and then completely ignored the requests I made for rectifying the situation, which was annoying. Ultimately I ended up with the product, but it took a lot of back and forth.

I have a lot of very long hair. Which is ironic because once the hair comes out of my hair it is absolutely disgusting to me, like, setting off my gag reflex level of disgusting. (I know, I know. But I never claimed to not be weird). As anyone with a lot of long hair knows, you shed like crazy and can lose a lot of it while showering and it can lead to drain clogs. Enter the tubshroom. I knew of its existence for many years, but never took the plunge of buying it. This changed when I got my own place and would thus, be responsible for cleaning out my drains. I’ll be honest, I do my best to catch the majority of my loose hair before it gets washed down, but for the stuff I don’t / can’t, the tubshroom works AMAZINGLY. It fits perfectly in my drain and catches all the loose hairs. I do find it’s a little challenging to clean, but this is not something that I would knock a star off for. I also like the stainless steel model because it looks like it’s just part of the tub. The included drain plug is about a 3.5-4 out of 5. Better than those beige rubber stoppers which I can’t pull out due to my short nails. It stops the water from draining but doesn’t have the best seal. Works for me, but may not work as well for others. Overall, recommend this product.
