Green Thumb 8619-50 5/8" ID x 50 Neverkink Click Seal Heavy Duty Garden Hose

Finally had a spigot installed in the back of my home. Bought a cheap hose in the fall. Overseeded the backyard and did some planting in the beds. You get what you pay for. Pulled out the cheap hose. Kinked constantly and the connection by the spigot was leaky. Spent more time fighting to unkink the hose and minimize the leak than I actually did watering my lawn. This hose by contrast has been phenomenal. The plastic click seal is a huge upgrade over the brass connectors I have used up to this point. There has not been a drop of water escaping between the spigot and the hose since I first clicked it into place. The hose is sturdy, rarely kinks, and grip is maintained easily during use. Not a lightweight hose, and worth every penny for ease of convenience and reliability!

Bogus!!! The so-called "click connector" leaks like a sieve under normal pressure when you shut off your spray nozzle with the water still turned on. Also, although it does seem to be less likely to kink than normal hoses, it will still kink if you pull it around a corner which is where most kink problems occur with any hose; however, most irritating of all, it is an absolute nightmare to coil. It takes Mr. America wrists to twist the hose into coils and frankly...... I'd rather chase the kinks in my old hose than put up with the leaks and the wrestling match during the coiling process with this one.

The hose seems to have a memory to coil back as it was when shipped. I would not buy this same brand again.

So far so good. Installation was a snap.. Works fine.

Just bought it and used it yesterday....it has an AMAZING way to connect to your spigot. I went on so easily I thought i was doing something wrong.Beware...there is a small plastic washer inside the the part that connects to your spigot..and its very loose. If this falls out, YOU WILL HAVE LEAKS at the base! Dont lose it! Other than that minor flaw, this is the best hose i've owned.
