Avantree HT5009 Plus -Wireless TV Headphones with aptX-Adaptive Transmitter

I bought these because I have hearing issues. I can not understand the words even with hearing aids on. I hear everything clear with these head phones and the head phones are more comfortable the the hearing aids and sound clarity is better. I have an older smart TV and it hooked up in seconds.

These headphones work great! Avantree HT5009 Plus. As soon as they were hooked up, I watched a movie with the headphones and they worked great! I couldn't believe I could finally actual hear EVERYTHING! I have high frequency hearing loss and tinnitus that makes it impossible to hear everything and usually use subtitles, but I hate "reading" the whole movie. It took me a little while to figure out how to adjust the settings on my Samsung TV so I could have sound coming out of the TV and also going to the optical audio output. Riza at Avantree was very helpful, sent me special instructions for the TV settings, and it worked! I still have to unplug and plug-in a different cable when switching from the TV to the satellite receiver box. It’s no big deal, but I’m looking into an input switcher with remote control to make the transition easier. Overall, I am very happy. It’s great being able to hear everything and I can adjust my volume separately from what my wife wants. I also watch TV with the headphones, and it can be completely silent in the room, so someone sleeping in the next room is not bothered. Thank you Avantree!

I like the additional features; the recharge cradle, which means I don’t have to plug the headphones into a cable. I also like the by-pass feature so we can listen to the sound bar and/or the headphones simultaneously including separate volume controls. Plus the support folks have been very good.

This is a surprisingly good TV headphone set. I get clear sound even going 35 feet and through two walls. They are comfortable to wear for an evening's TV watching. The downside is do not expect good musical reproduction as these are meant for TV and do filter out a lot of the over modulation some programs have. The other problem is lack of volume control and switches that are hard to use. Very easy hook-up. Overall a 4.5 on my scale.

Very disappointed that this does not work as they advertised. So much background sounds or latency. All I can say it is easy to setup using optical connections. Will be returning.

I have 3 of these headphones and I love them. I just got a new one and I like it even better than the other two sets. A few improvements in the way it connects. Super easy to install and great sound. Easy to operate.

Work as described with decent sound quality. Only used for watching TV late at night, perfect choice if that's what you need. Other BT headsets can be paired with the system if you prefer a different fit. Connection was easy and charging is much easier than the ones that charge on the signal base.

Although it look pretty much the same as the old HT5009, the PLUS version has many improvements: 1) Now there's a switch for pairing instead of the little bar on the headset (that you had to press just right in order for it to connect) 2. The cradle for the headset: It's nice to plop it in the cradle for charging instead of looking for the charging cord that fit the old headset. 3. The transmitter has been changed. a) now it has a on/off switch. This is great because my old transmitter stopped working. That may because it was on for X number of years. b) not sure what else has changed on the transmitter. Stuff I don't understand. However, it the factory settings worked right out of the box. 4. Not an improvement, just an FYI. The cradle has the new USC-C connection, but the other end of the cord is the old USB type, i.e. not the USC-C. It also does not come with a power cord cube. Except for the on/off pairing switch, the headset has the same nice lush fit.

È stata un' ottima scelta. Le cuffie si collegano facilmente al televisore e si può sentire in cuffia e contemporaneamente dalle casse del TV. Mio marito indossa le cuffie e le tiene al volume che preferisce mentre io posso regolare in autonomia il volume del TV. Sono anche comode da indossare e la base di ricarica è molto utile perché basta appoggiare sopra le cuffie senza dover usare cavi aggiuntivi.

Por problemas de audición, mi familia estaba hasta del elevado volumen de la TV. que precisaba para poder "enterarme de algo". Estuve buscando varias soluciones (ninguna resultó satisfactoria) hasta que me llamó la atención estos auriculares por sus distintos medios de conectarse a la TV y, sobre todo, porque ofrecían la posibilidad de independizar el volumen del de la TV. y así no "molestar a nadie". Bien, el resultado Ha sido perfecto. Con la particularidad de que los he podido conectar vía bluetooth a la smart tv, sin necesidad de hacer uso de los otros dispositivos que figuran incluidos en la misma caja de los auriculares. Conclusión: muy contento (por ahora) del resultado, funcio0namiento y calidad del producto. Quien más lo ha agradecido ha sido mi familia ...
