So starting off the jacket seems nice and it fits my dog - sort of, but the length is too long. I would go down a size but then I think the Velcro chest/belly strap that is underneath the larger chest strap with the buckle, would be too short to use. The thigh straps are WAY too big. They hit the ground when she pees and get urine on them. The length of the coat is so long is goes past her short tail (by about 2 inches) and ALMOST touched her feces when she goes, as it comes out. The issue is that the measurements you take are slightly inaccurate because if you size up and the neck area of the coat is a great deal larger than your dogs actual measurement, it causes the coat to go further down the back and the length measurement then is actually started at say just behind the shoulder blades rather than the base of the neck. I will either need to do some tailoring or return the coat for a size smaller and see how it might fit. I’ve included photos since there are non in the reviews yet. For reference my dog is about 60-63lbs 25 inches from base of the neck to base of the tail with a 30in chest and 19 inch base of neck. I bought the large size in black.

I purchased this jacket as I was having problems finding one that fit my dogs body length. She is not a large dog, a medium size, 44 lbs, slender with a strong body build and long body length. Jackets are usually too small in the body length and through the chest girth for her. She is coonhound and American pity mix with long legs and body length. I ordered the medium size as it is noted, "If your dog is between sizes or is strong or bushy, suggest you select the larger size up to make sure your dog is comfortable." She was in between the small and medium size according to the size chart. The medium fit prefect and the girth strap can lengthen or shorten for her comfort, The body length covers her back hips and tail about and inch, it does not interfere her going out to relieve herself. The neck cord can be tightened to fit comfortably to help hold out those midwest chills. I would ordered this jacket again!

Bought 2 coats for 2 Greyhounds, a 72 & 85 pounders, males. LG for 72 lbs & XL for 85 lbs big chested.LG for 72 lbs fits perfect, all around.XL for 85 lbs fits perfect EXCEPT the elastic under the chest is a bit too tight/short for my BIG chested Grey.Coats stay/cling on & maintain position on the Grey's bodies perfectly without having to use the hind legs elastics to stabilized. Both dogs run at dog park, coats stay/cling on great.Coat fabrics not as thick as I thought or as it looks in pix, but the price is reasonable.Fabrics feel nice & soft & love the reflective stripes esp. at night when flashlight is used. I love the glow!Just reordered 3 more.

Easy to put on my pups! A bit long for the sizes I got, but that will help keep them warmer. I have 2 vizslas in cold PA winters, so they get cold very easily and i have to keep coats on them. They look nice in them and the coats are pretty lightweight and seem comfortable. I'll see how they like them when it's 15 degrees outside😏

It is very well made. The length for the back was perfect; also the neck gaiter had ample length to it. The bib was nice and wide, completely covered the breast plate but I could not get the black strap for the arm pits around my big boy's chest. I need one size up but there isn't one. Dog is an European Dobermann, 112#. Will check back for a larger chest size. the length was perfect!

Seems well made and kept my dog warm while camping in low temperatures, however when we woke up the neck part had slipped all the way down to his shoulder. I had measured him previous to purchase yet still happed. Probably because of the shape of the breed. For other breeds or to use it just for walks it should be fine. I like the reflectors.

This jacket is the JACKPOT for Greyhounds! The Large fits my 65lb Greyhound perfectly. This is a very nice quality jacket - lined but not too thickly lined - perfect for all kinds of weather. Wish I’d found this for her a long time ago! Your Greyhound needs this! I’d say L for females and maybe XL for large males. Easy on/off, all straps fit well, length is perfect to cover her bottom, it’s not too snug anywhere, material is nice quality. Great find & buy!!!

My greyhound weights 65.4 lb. Size L fits her well. It’s adjustable, stretches nicely, and stays on when she runs.It’s not very warm and it’s not water resistant (ok for a drizzle, but not for a rain). Also the collar is a bit too short. Still it’s a good fall jacket. Great for the price!
