Use this for UNDER the crate of my parakeet cage when we go away and others are watching the bird as it hides the poop. Would not let bird walk on this directly as they'd be walking on the poop. No smell, bag goes a long way.

Has really helped with the smell of my cockatiels cage, its not as bad as when I used paper, makes for easier cleaning in my case too.

I really wish i had used this a long time ago in my bird cage. It lasts a long time - i usually clean off the top layer and add new product for the month. Then start over fresh. It traps all of the dust and feathers from shed and molting and mineral blocks. Before when they would molt there would be feathers everywhere - Its reduced by 80-90%. Really could have made my life a lot easier in the past. Also better for the environment. Seriously get it, you wont regret it.

The bedding itself is really nice. It's odor-reducing, absorbent, and easy to work with. The issue is using this for birds like quail or chickens, since the bedding looks identical to their feed. The product may have the same impact on other birds like doves, parakeets, and even cockatiels, depending on the food their being fed. This product is better suited for small mammals and reptiles (that enjoy burrowing/digging).

I’ve been using this litter ever since I got my rabbit 2 years ago and it works perfectly. It is a big bag for a cheap price. You don’t need to use too much at a time because it’s very absorbent. It’s masks the smell pretty well but can be bad if the room is hot. It’s Easy to clean and dispose of making it a great choice of litter for rabbits and other animals for a very reasonable price.

I use this bedding in the bottom of my bird cages. I do have a grate over it otherwise my conure would probably make a mess with this bedding. I love this bedding because it looks nicer to me than paper, papertowels, puppy pads..etc. this has a nice natural, neutral aesthetic. Its nice that you can also scoop out the parts of the litter with poop on it without needing to change the whole tray.

Last longer then other litter materials

Use for my cockatiels bedding in the cage. So easy to clean up and replace. Will not use anything else but this!

Used this with aspen wood for a cockatail nest and the birds really loved it. Dont waste your money on fake synthetic nest material just use this with aspen shavings for cockatails nest you wont be dissapointment it absorbs so much and does not leave a bad smell from the nest
