Wow. **Q: Can this be used on ceramic pieces?** A: Never worked with ceramic but I would think so. I used it o a canvas over paint. **Q: is it safe for lipgloss ?** A: I wouldn't put this glitter on lipgloss. It would be very gritty. That's just my opinion. If you are used to wearing glitter on your lipgloss I would say it is a fine glitter but not super fine. **Q: Do the shaker tops close (e.g., twist) to seal the container in between uses?** A: The tops have holes in the top to sprinkle out the glitter. They are twist on caps and they have a piece of cardboard in the cap so the glitter doesn't come out. You have to remove the cardboard and keep it if you need the holes covered when finished using the glitter. It was too hard for me to get that cardboard out of the cap so I tossed the cardboard and I put a piece of masking tape over the top holes of the cap.
