Vionic Women's Walker Classic Walking Shoes with Concealed Orthotic Arch Support White and Blue Leather 7.5 Medium US

I bought these for my girlfriend. She has small feet and high arches. Was sometimes crying because her feet hurt so bad after work (nursing field)After lots of research I found these shoes and sounded like a good fit for price and performance. There were one or two reviews that I based my decision on. She has a similar review to offer...It took a couple weeks to break in. At first it gave her a blister or rubbed a spot on her toe. Don’t remember which. She put a little bandaid on it which stopped the rubbing till they were broken in.She didn’t want to wear them once the rubbing started though. I persuaded her to wear them a little longer because after all... I DID just spent $100 bucks on these for her :)So she wore them another week and after a week I never heard about them again and kind of forgot about them. Because her feet no longer hurt, her arches got the support they needed and after the break in period of a couple weeks, she no longer came home in pain! Her feet don’t hurt at the end of the day and she’s got spring in her step when she walks through the door at home!It’s a beautiful sight because she’s a beautiful woman! Plus the blue accent on the shoes matches her big blue eyes :)She said they never broke in to the point that they’re soft and cushy but are still firm. Which I’m guessing is good because she needs that rigidity to keep her arch support solid till the shoes wear out.She does however still want softness and more cushioning because she’s on her feet for 8+ hours a day straight. So I’m thinking I’ll get a gel insert to go along with the arch support.Bottom line is “they are way better than her other awful shoes, but she just wants more cushioning”.Her words :)I just love that she’s not in pain!!

The first day I got these shoes I wore them for a couple of hours. I noticed right away that I did not have pain in my heel and it was not painful to walk. After the first day I have worn these shoes for every day since then. These shoes are so comfortable. But the best part is that I no longer have pain when I walk. I have not seen any wear in the soles as others have reported.

I am flat footed and these shoes give the best support ever!!

Is there such a thing as a miracle shoe? If such a thing exists, this would be it. I've been having problems with plantar fasciitis and the problem peaked in May to the point where I simply could not walk without support. I bought these shoes and heel cups after reading an article in a medical magazine where these came highly recommended. I will be hiking through Spain in October and I was scared to death that my feet were going to make it impossible for me to do this, so I decided to spend the money and invest in these shoes. I am in love! I do not use heel cups in these shoes. No need. I use heel cups in my other shoes (gardening shoes and sneakers, high heels are quite comfortable for me to wear) but when I hear these shoes, I need nothing else. I'll be traveling to Europe in these and will buy another pair in black for those occasions where I don't want to seem to be wearing sneakers. If your feet hurt, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, I strongly recommend you try these. They are fabulous!!!!!

I wanted to love these but they ran large. Additionally the high arch was very hard and painful. I’ll try a half size smaller to see if that eliminates the place of the high arch.

I have had a number of pairs of these and always have found them to fit very well and help with my heel pain. They come in a timely manner and give me the support that I need.

The sneakers are true to size.They are very comfortableExactly what I expect from vionic.Excellent quality.
