Solves my Problem...and gives me peace!
So I have this problem... My dog is a 65 lb rottie - boxer mix, which means she has strong jaws and a lot of energy. Unfortunately (or probably fortunately, in many cases!) she is not much of a chewer as many rotties are protrayed to be. While it keeps stuffed animals and shoes in tact in my household, it means I struggle to find chew treats to keep her occupied. The thing is, she does love bones as dogs do. It's just if it seems "too hard" for her she won't chew it. (and it MUST be actually edible, no plastic for her!) As a result, I'm always purchasing the natural chews that are geared towards smaller dogs (with a lot less strength in their jaws) and she ends up eating them in two seconds flat.I've tried just about everything and try to keep her diet varied, so I typically know what my semi - picky eater will and won't eat. However, the expense of always buying at the store and buying these treats that get swallowed in thirty seconds (maybe a full sixty for her beloved merrick chews) I wanted to puchase something online, hopefully in bulk, and hopefully something that will last and maybe give me more than a minute of peace keeping her occupied.I took a chance on this brand (I usually like Jones Natural Chews or Merrick, but they were much more expensive) and couldn't be happier! They are exactly the same as what I get from Jones, at a MIUCH better price, and most importantly, they keep her occupied for quite some time!I think the trick is that the layer on the outside is enough to get her started, and by the time it's down to pure bone (which she normally would walk away from, because it's "too hard" for her) she's already into it.She used to eat these and give up after twenty minutes or so and come back to it the next day, but I'm happy to say she's currently been occupied a full half hour and doesn't look ready to stop! So glad I found these, am definitely ordering more! Just hope I can find a few more like this to rotate into her diet that meet our strong jawed needs!

Puppy is a happy camper!
These bones are one of my puppy's all time favorite things! He's a heavy chewer and likes to swallow cloth, so a lot of stuffed toys are off limits and it's difficult to find things to keep him occupied. These bones definitely do the trick! When I first give one to him, he'll chew nonstop for one to two hours until most of the meaty part is gone. After that, he's less interested, and the result is his toy basket tends to fill up with half chewed bones. This isn't a bad thing, though. He'll usually pull them out of his basket one by one and alternate chewing on them, and this seems to keep him from getting bored.I used to give him the larger beef knuckle bones, but these are much more economical and seem to keep his interest with the better meat to bone ratio. This 50 pack is great and ensures I always have some on hand when he decides to be a crazy puppy. They are messy at first, but I haven't noticed any lasting damage to my rug. You could always put something underneath the bone for the first 30 minutes or so. After that, most of the meat and grease seems to be gone and it shouldn't damage any furnishings. My dog is a large breed and I haven't had any trouble with him trying to swallow these, but I do take them away when they start to get very small. Supervision is definitely a good idea the first few times you give these to your dog!

Great deal to buy these bones in bulk- they did come shrink-wrapped
I was very pleased with my bulk order of these knee cap bones. They are large (all at least 5in long at longest part) and came individually shrink-wrapped. I have purchased knee cap bones individually at pet stores before, and these actually look bigger and meatier than most I've seen in the past. And by buying in bulk I've saved at least 50% off the pet store price! My dog is happily chewing one as I type this.I would suggest you try out a knee cap bone from a local store before ordering a lot of them to see if it works for your dog and you. I like them because they last a few hours for my dog (a 60lb shepherd-rhodesian ridgeback mutt) but aren't big enough to cause gastrointestinal upset for her if she eats it all in one sitting. Some people dislike them because they are a little greasy and could require some floor clean up, or they are too big/small for their dog's needs. Now my only problem is trying to find a place to store them where my dog can't get into it! She's a smart and mischievous girl.

Great, But Watch for Constipation/Blockage/Bloat.
The caps are of course, not individually wrapped, however quality is very good. They are a bit greasy with quite a bit of meat attached, so I do not recommend these on carpet. Great outside treat. My 80lb GSD polishes one of these off in one sitting, but so does my roommate's 40lb pit bull and if I give her more than 1 a day she becomes extremely constipated. Portions of her stools are white and bone dry/crumbly/sand-like. So gastrointestinal blockage is a real risk. For her, I have cut down to giving her only one/week. My GSD does fine with 1-2/day. My roommate gives her Purina, whereas my GSD is fed Blue Buffalo. So quality of the underlining diet *may also contribute. Just something to keep in mind and watch out for. Lastly, these can get chewed down to a golf ball size very swiftly, so watch your pup closely. All-in-all, great value and treat!

Picky Chihuahua is obsessed
We have a *super* picky Chihuahua. She doesn't like tennis balls, rawhide sticks, kong toys, peanut butter, bacon flavor, and she's honestly only lukewarm to "everything else" unless she sees a human eat it -or- she's not supposed to chew on it.Not sure why, but she ADORES these beef knees. She'll happily chew on 'em until you take them away because you don't have time to supervise her chewing on them anymore so she has to save the rest for later. She loves them.
