Review: Great Pens for Everyday Writing - These are great pens! They write smoothly and the 0.5mm tip makes the writing look clean and precise. I also really like the vintage light ink colors—they look nice without being too bright. They’re comfortable to use and work great for everyday writing and taking notes. Review: Yes they smudge, but are also high quality for writing. - For reference, the photos were taken on 1x apple Iphone quality and 0.5x, one in direct sunlight the other not. Also, I am not left handed or ambidextrous. Lastly, written on Mead paper. These pens were so amazing at first glance. They advertise their clips- which work so well, and the pens look amazing. I was so impressed by the colors and the elegant 0.5 tip when writing. But, I was slightly disappointed when doing the smudge test. Some were better than others but I was surprised to see red did the worst, seeing as it’s a favorite of mine. These pens are such high quality though, you wouldn’t even suspect they had a smudging problem. The click is satisfying and the pens weigh a bit in your hand giving it that richer feel. The pens on the outside are thicker and have a rubber grip which makes writing feel effortless, and the color match is remarkable. Also it’s not the kind of pen to feel heavy after a while* -for my earlier remark. I am happy to own these pens but disappointed this comes with a side of caution because of the poor drying aspect. Oh, and I used the S • Gel Sharpie pen as reference to an actual non smudge pen. I give these a 9.5/10 rating (unlike the pens) ## Features - Vibrant Color Variety: Elevate your writing with Zebra Pen's colorful pens. I am trying to collect them all for bullet journaling but it bothers me when my colors don't match 😂** A: Since there are 20 colors in this set and 15 colors in the Mildliner set, you don't have a one-to-one match anyway. That being said, most of the colors coordinate very well (nearly match perfectly) while others—purple and red, for example—don't match. If those two are favorite colors to use, you're going to be frustrated. But if you can make do with the other colors, you will be happy with this set. Also remember that matching colors is dependent on the paper and how many swipes you use with the Mildliner; those translucent inks darken noticeably with every pass. **Q: Are there any pastel colors in the assorted pack?** A: In my opinion, I don't think they're pastel I tried to give a good picture of what the colors are sorry. Ignore my music in the background. **Q: How long does the ink take to dry?** A: Not long. Maybe a minute or so? **Q: Do this smudge when highlighting over with mildliner?** A: Yes they do smudge. The trick is, highlight first and write over it. Sarasa clips are pretty thin so it doesn't look that great to write over. You can try Zebr blen 0.5 pens, they don't smudge at all with mildliners if you highlight over them. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Pens for Everyday Writing *by S***A on September 14, 2026* These are great pens!
