Deco 79 Teak Wood Handmade Live Edge Stump Accent Table with Charred Detailing, 14" x 14" x 18", Brown

Folks this a heavyweight, not like the picture makes it look! We will use it as an accent stool or possibly small table. The colors and graining in this teak wood are beautiful, rich and deep. Super sturdy and stable too. This is very solid teak wood with burned accents.

I love it. It’s very pretty and substantial. I had to roll it into the house.

Although the piece is very beautiful with its grain pattern and burned inside effects, the description of the item is false. This piece is barely 16 inches tall, not 18. You can tell the piece is obviously cut at both ends to this length. So I don’t understand or appreciate the obviously false description of the table. But it is what it is I guess. Cant count on quality anymore these days.

This stool/pedestal is worth its weight in gold. I didn’t read how heavy it is when I purchased it. But it was worth rolling into the kitchen where it will stay. I recommend this is is beautiful. It also works in any environment.

I feel like this is a pretty unique piece of furniture and have been happy with it, but just watch the dimensions of what you need to ensure it's large enough for your use. So, my fault, I didn't grab a measuring tape and actually size it out beforehand - it's not real large. I'm actually using it as an accent table next to a chair and I love it for this purpose, but just bought a 24 inch round glass tabletop to put on top of it so it's more useful. One other thing, be prepared for a bit of a mess when you open it - there were pebbles and things lodged in all the nooks and crannies and it was VERY dusty when I took it out of the box. There are also areas that looked a little dried out, but after using a good quality wood cleaner/preserver it's much better. I love that it's solid wood and not veneer, that it's essentially been reclaimed to use as furniture, and that the teak is a beautiful, warm shade. It just needs a little love out of the box. Looking back at others' reviews, mine isn't painted black in some areas but it does look a little charred and dry. Not sure if painting the inside bits is newer? I measured it and it's 14 inches wide and 17 inches tall, but I'm sure it varies a little. If you wanted to use it as a stool, I'm 5'6" and find it a great height for me - if you were taller and/or had long legs it could be a little awkward, I'm guessing.

Heavy! Great quality solid teak wood piece. I was worried how it would actually be ordering through an Amazon dealer, but love it!

The stump is beautiful and looks as pictured. One piece on the bottom is attached separately, but it isn’t noticeable and keeps it level. But it smells bad! On the bottom of the stump a label says in its creation they used toxic chemicals which cause cancer. This product is not safe, especially if you have kids.
