Too Oily
May be good for the scalp and hair health but I didn’t get the chance to continue using - left my scalp way too greasy and thus itchy.

Left my hair feeling cleaner than other medicated shampoo
I've had to severe dandruff since I was four because of a skin condition that used to be called "cradle cap" in babies. Now it's just plain old seborrhea, so I've used very expensive and not so expensive anti-dandruff shampoos to combat that my entire life. As I get older, hair thinning is becoming a concern as well. After reading the long ingredients list I can see where this would be beneficial to both of my hair and scalp challenges. it has a combination of things I would find in Pantene type shampoos and the more natural organic types. The one ingredient that was somewhere in the middle of the list was niacinamide, and that would certainly help to promote more blood flow to the hair follicles. with a refreshing tingle.I have only tested it once so far and the results seemed promising. My scalp felt great and it didn't make my coarse hair type feel as stiff as many other OTC medicated or "dandruff" shampoos do. it didn't leave any residue behind. At first, my hair didn't feel overly soft as some of my other shampoos do, but it wasn't drying. either. It was just neutral and the day after my hair felt naturally clean and soft as if I just washed it under a crystal clear waterfall. Unaffected by hard water and the many chemicals that combat it. If that makes any sense. It just feels nice! The fragrance is pleasant and ii did not find it overpowering. but I'm the girl who would buy something like "Gee, your hair smells terrific" because I like my hair to smell good. This smells nice without exacerbating any of my skin conditions.I think it's kind of pricy for what it is, so I'll be using it sparingly after I am at about the halfway point. It's a product I like enough to use again and again for a couple of weeks and then put it in the mix with the other shampoos I like.Even though it says it is color-safe it is not something I would use during the first week or so after coloring my hair. I have other expensive color-preserving and boosting shampoos that I use for that. Everything has its purpose and I like to use the right tool for the job.** If you found this review to be helpful at all, please take a moment and click the button below to let Amazon know. Very perfumey but propolis extract is the first ingredient
This isn't a natural shampoo and you are paying a little too much for mostly standard chemical detergents BUT it does have some good stuff in it, too.If you are at all sensitive to synthetic perfumes, steer clear of this. I don't know WHY companies add such strong fragrances to their products and why so many consumers want that but....it is what it is. This is perfumey and it irritates my nose and brain but it's not an obnoxious scent. I'm just not into perfume. The positives are: The first ingredient in this is a water suspension of propolis extract which I was surprised to see because most companies capitalize on fancy buzzwords only to put the active ingredient in a trace amount after 50 other cheap chemicals and fillers. Also, this does have four vitamins, as well as eight herbal or fruit extracts and oils, all of which offer different benefits (although it's debatable how much is actually absorbed into your hair rather than just washed down the drain but....we won't talk about that). In other words, they did pack a nice spectrum of good stuff into this.I don't have dandruff so I can't comment on how well this shampoo targets that issue. I have very long, thin hair, and I lose gobs of hair every day. I spend most of my existence unwinding my toes, my parakeet, my dinner dishes from strands of my hair, unclogging my drain, unjamming my vacuum....you get the picture. Somehow I still have hair but I honestly don't know how. While this shampoo has beneficial elements for hair loss, it isn't a miracle cure. Strands of 3-foot long hair are 98% dead tissue and you can coat them in all the vitamins in the world and they will still fall out. You have to target hair loss from within because that's where hair growth occurs and no shampoo will help you with that. This shampoo doesn't lessen my chronic dilemma of finding the disembodied souls of my hair in every nook and cranny of my living space but for a shampoo, it's decent quality. I wouldn't pay $35 for it, though.
