I was looking at a globe as a gift to high school children. This is the largest and most expensive option available. Unfortunately, at the time of purchase, there were no better globes even on the global site.The map appears reasonably accurate, and the markings for latitude are useful too. Magnifying glass is nice and sturdy. Game cards are alright.The biggest disappointment is the base and the mount, which uses one ordinary nut, and it can't hold the globe firmly. So, within 5 minutes of use, the globe starts wobbling. Definitely not fit for use in a high school, or even at home with kids. May be of use in office settings, or with highly well behaved kids who will handle it very delicately, or not handle at all.

It's a gaint globe. Good quality. You can buy it without second thoughts.

I brought a large one for my kid and it’s really a good one. Fonts are bigger in size and easier to read, so it’s helpful for the school kids to visualize the earth and it’s features.Only thing is the base could have been made little more heavier to give it a sturdier support but then that’s not a show stopper.

Very good apparatus. This is not a showpiece. This is mainly for Geography lovers. What I received now is a replacement item. By error, the supplier sent me Globe of 10" diameter whereas I had ordered for 12" diameter. It was promptly replaced by Amazon at no cost to me. The packing was good. Base is quite sturdy. A must for a Geography student and schools.
