kenable4 Gang Way 13A UK Rewireable Mains Extension with Neon Light Black

Great little item, but im no electrician, so getting this with NO wiring instructions made it very difficult to suss out what wires goes where. also one screw on the cable security part just didnt want to move so it ended up rounded off and not much help at all. would i say id buy one of these again the answer is NO! id look for a better one with clear indication to what wire goes where. UPDATE -I binned this in the end .

Seems ok. Bought to fit in an external box for some Christmas lights. The edges of the plastic could be a bit smoother here and there around the top cover where it meets the base.With black on black writing, as you would expect, is a bit difficult to read the instructions engraved on the back, and no L/N/E letters printed by the terminals nor paper instructions. I ended up opening the whole thing to make sure I had got the wiring correct.Although purchased thinking it would be branded Kenable, it was in a Pro-Elec bag and the branding on the back of the extension socket says PMS. Go figure...

The reason I ordered this 4 gang way socket and was i could add the cable length i wanted others l looked at were fixed lengths with no access to put a longer cable
