I imagine I'd be happier with a higher pressure version
Got these to replace the props on the canopy for my 1989 Ford Ranger. They worked perfectly, seem to have just the right amount of pressure to hold the back windshield open and then close firmly as well. Only complaint is they could push it open just a tad faster... I bring it half way then have to either keep pushing up or wait a few seconds while it does it's thing... I imagine I'd be happier with a higher pressure version, but couldn't find one in these exact measurements and I wanted to ensure a proper fit.Overall did the job, snapped right on with a basic flat head, and look great compared to the old beat up ones!

Definitely worth taking a chance due to the low cost, convenience, & ease-of-installation
My full size '87 GMC's topper door kept hitting me in the back of the head when I didn't have my vice-grips handy to hold it open. Some searching on the internet yielded a YouTube video of a guy who bought his lift supports from this seller... I followed his advice & bought two 24 lb struts for around $13.. yes, both struts showed up at my door in two days. Installation took just a few minutes making it one of the few successful completed tasks recently. Not sure why the picture decided to rotate when I uploaded it.. but I added it anyway to give you an idea of what kind of topper/back window my truck has. The 24 lb units seem to be the perfect strength: the window raises itself at just the right rate. Time will tell how long these will last but I'll remain satisfied if I get two years out of them.. They were only $13!
