An excellent value for the price! I was able to write with this pen immediately upon opening, and it was a breeze to write a full sentence with one dip. It comes with a small bottle of ink to get you started so if you’re even remotely interested in calligraphy or writing with a dip pen, this is an inexpensive way to see if you want to pursue it. The pen appears to be of decent quality, and the set comes with six nibs. Again for the price, you can’t get a better deal. This should help bring back the dead art of letter writing. Highly recommended!

I love paper and pen products even though these instruments are going out of style. My son presented me the set for Christmas and so enjoy using it. I keep it in the kitchen so I can use it constantly: for shopping lists, scribbling, journaling, notes, etc. The experience is very soothing.

After reading and seeing Harry Potter, our granddaughter really wanted to write with a quill ink pen. I had no idea that this pen, pen points, and ink would come in such a quaint-looking box, and that it would write so smoothly.We're very pleased.

This was a great price. I have had this for about a year, and it still works great. Don't write with it often, but it does look better than the quality I get from my fountain pen. Does require more time though as you have to re-ink quite often.

Bought it as a gift for my sister along with a vintage notebook. Not sure how well it writes but she loved the combination
