We’re fortunate that we have access to quality professional scales at our local Bannatyne’s gym. We also have our original more basic salter scales. The ones at the gym and the salter ones put me and my wife at between 15-20% body fat. Myzone scales have me at 30%! In comparison the myzone ones tally up exactly with the BMI scale - essentially they aren’t actually measuring your body fat, they use the BMI index to work out approximately what it thinks your body fat/muscle and bone is. They’re basically blagging it and detecting nothing. This is important because the Body mass index (BMI) system is well known to be wildly flawed as it does not take into consideration if a person has a higher proportion of muscle ie those who train/go to the gym. Overall this tells me that this is a shockingly poor product and lets down the myzone brand badly. I have their MZ3 Belt and love it but I won’t buy anything else of theirs now as I think that whoever designed these scale are nothing more than con artists I would look to a well regarded brand and do your research and use a site like which? to ensure you’re not buying a cheap Knock off brand. Buy cheap, buy twice!

Body weight is fine, but I am not convinced with the body fat reading. Which makes me question the accuracy of the other readings. Im pretty fit and have had previous readings done in the gym's. This was no where near. But from what i read, it only gives you reading of body fat from your lower half. Ultimately you need a full body analysis monitor which is really only available at health centres to get an as 'accurate' reading as possible Love MyZone, didn't love this

Doesn’t work as instructed. Connection with app is established before weighing, stand on scales, as instructed they don’t turn on. You have to remove and reinsert the battery to get any action. Resync with the app then stand back on them, they’ve gone off and don’t come back on until you cycle the battery again. Rubbish.

I bought these to pair with my MyZone app. They are simple to pair up and the display is clear and can be set to your preferred measurement metric. However, I am not convinced on the accuracy - the weight reading is instantaneous and there isn’t enough time for it to have scanned muscle mass and body fat. It also does not give the other metrics you can get with other scales such as water, visceral fat, bone density etc. The other major issue is battery life - after 10-15 weigh ins I seem to have to replace the batteries! I’m on my 5th set already. Maybe this is linked to the instant readings and it uses a lot of power to take the reading but my other scales, that take readings of lots of metrics, has had the same set of batteries for over a year. Sadly, I think these are riding on the MyZone branding but in reality aren’t really very good scales. They are expensive given that they only provide 2 additional metrics in app and throw in the constant replacing of batteries, I’m probably going to go back to my old scales and these will become a branded bathroom ornament.

Really not accurate. Tried multiple times a day and it was between 1.5 kg of muscle reduction. If water that will be ok but muscle not really. Hard to sink with the my one app.

I didn't like the new scale at first. The first time I stepped on it, I weighed 6 lbs more than my old scale. But after 4-5 days my weight was back to normal. I guess it needs to calibrate with my body. Now I love knowing what my muscle mass, water and BMI are several times a week. This allows me to make adjustments to my exercise & nutrition when needed. Some days I have more water weight, which is no big deal, but nice to know.

Fast and easy to set up, works very quickly with no lagging, especially the weighing option, the weight is almost instant unlike a lot of other digital scales. It works very well with the MyZone app. Very happy with them.

I was excited for this addition to the myzone product line. I received it very quickly but had difficult with the initial set up. After contacting customer support, it turns out there was a glitch in the programming and it was a simple fix to correct it. I have several issues with this scale... 1. At times, it takes several attempts to obtain a correct reading 2. Several times the reading on the scale does not match the reading in the app 3. Body metrics are not even close to accurate. I was not expecting precision but at least a ballpark where I could measure my improvement at home. I have had dexa scans and keep records of my measurements so I have an accurate starting point. This scale has read my body fat 20% higher than it is, plus 30 pounds less of muscle mass and 38 pounds of visceral fat instead of my <1lb. Not even close to my current status. I have used this scale for several days to determine if there was any issue but it just seems like a complete miss on the part of myzone. I will have to return

Do not be fooled by this product. The scales only provide you with your weight, no other body metrics as claimed. I even purchased the Myzone belt and it does not help to provide you with any metrics like visceral fat, body water etc, only your weight. My scales also stopped powering on after 5 months so are now completely useless!
