It does have a nice scent... I'd call it a clean scent.

Can this be used on laminate floors?

Yes safe on all floors. I used this for 14 years when I had cleaning business

Does this work well for pre-finished hardwood floors?

Hi Lynn,We only use this product because one of our clients request it, we do feel as though it works well for this client. This particular client has very high traffic in this home, so we feel it is a good product for more commercial jobs. On a normal base we use fabuloso on tile and murphy's oil soap in all other homes we clean.Thanks,Brandy
