This book is so great. It's funny and upbeat. The artwork draws you into Slothilda's world, and you get to know and love her within a few pages of comics. For readers who haven't met Slothilda yet, she is a lovable cartoon sloth who works in an office, constantly diets, and has trouble staying motivated. And, Slothilda the sloth has a cell phone, and she has a pet dog. Her dog, a Corgi, is equally adorable, and I definitely relate to Slothilda's struggle to negotiate home life with a dog who likes napping, making messes, and eating as much as his owner.Spoiler alerts...Slothilda's dreaded "d-words" are "deadlines, diets, and dishes." Who doesn't relate to that? On practically every page, Fabiero and Slothilda make me laugh about my lamest attributes: Slothilda eating a truckload of bread on cheat day; Slothilda burning down the kitchen trying to cook; and Slothilda looking productive at work while actually engaged in online shopping.I'm planning to buy more copies for birthday and holiday gifts: the humor is innocent and so close to home, and I know my family will love it too! So I consider me a newbie. Anyways, after I laughed at the first couple pages I ended up on the one in my photo. I think this sloth is my long lost twin or something, like this resonates with me completely and I love Slothilda so much 😍The book looks great and the pages are all in perfect condition and thick (read QUALITY *yay*) and the price wasn't bad at all.
