It has an ok scent which after applied will not be noticed, and it goes on nicely, does not feel heavy nor really greasy. I did not realize the sheen it presents after application, I was complimented by the look. It's a good product of which I will purchase again, I am gonna have to. My wife keeps hijacking it to put on the ends of her hair, she says she likes what it does for her frizziness.
