I bought When Sadness is at Your Door for my 5-year-old daughter, and we both absolutely loved it. This book is such a wonderful way to introduce the concept of sadness to young children in a comforting and relatable way. 🧸💖Eva Eland does an incredible job personifying sadness, helping kids understand that it’s okay to feel sad sometimes and that it’s something you can sit with and not be afraid of.     One of the best books to talk about Sadness with children

This book is wonderful!  It helps to start a conversation about how sadness is an okay emotion. Sometimes it's big and sometimes it's small.  It helps to initiate conversations about how to respond to sadness.  Very well illustrated.  I love the simpleness, and how even the interior end sheets have beautiful artwork.  The front of the book has Sadness and the people alone, while the back has Sadness interacting in healthy ways. So good!
