It's not a silk bra. It's 57% Nylon and 36% Polyester. 7% Elastane. It may soften with a few hand washes but isn't a bra you'll want to sleep in (I hear some women do that). Most bras I can find that don't leave me with the dreaded quad-boob/spillover problem have such wide-set straps that not only do they slip, the bra offers very little actual lift and support. The cups and straps on the Alice both fit great. No spillover, plenty of comfortable support and no straps sliding down my arms! This bra is the full busted women's dream! Especially for smaller band sizes with large cup sizes.
