for the most part my daughter’s tall Brita water bottle fit in the side pocket - if she had a lot of stuff one day then it was tougher to get it in

It is pretty small so I didn’t think it would too much at all…however, I recently have been fitting a regular plastic water bottle in it so you can say 17oz water bottle :)

It has about a quarter inch padding on the inside part of it of the come from apartment it’s not bad I think it would work I think it works I use put my iPad in it all the time and I have no problem

Q: does the water resistant texture feel weird?

Not at all! feels just like a regular backpack to me.
